actually, the chemicals in your body mixing with what you eat prevents you from farting a certain 'smell' .. if you ate tons and tons of cheesecake, you wouldnt fart a smelly cheesecake smell, because your bodies chemicals mixed with what you ate prevent that.

however, there are those rare occasions when it WILL smell like what you ate, and that occurs when your chemicals are low, and/or before you have to take a crap.
