The funny thing is that this apology is all over the Canadian media, but I can't find it on any American media. So basically the apology is to everyone who knows that the terrorists didn't come from Canada, and no effort has been made to inform the large proportion of Americans who think that Canada is responsible for letting those people into America. So what's the point?

Blaming others is always easier then blaming yourself...

Thats why everybody here in Europe blames the Netherlands for weed coming into their country, well that or becuase most of it comes threw the Netherlands but thats besides the point....

And if it really isn't in the American Media then it really doesn't have much use. The entire thing will just keep on being quoted and said by all that don't like Canada and when shown with those facts they will just be able to say "Never been on the American news." the entire apology is worthless, to all but those few Canadians that actually cared

It doesn't bother me if someone doesn't like me or my country, it does bother me when someone has come to that conclusion through misinformation, ignorance or direct deception.

In this case it has been a little of all three, and no effort has been made to correct it.
