I have a project to write, so i cant leave the computer. I eliminated TV anyway, and I could eliminate video games too - but i would cheat with internet. I dont think i can eliminate it cry

The only TV I watch is The Simpsons and Family Guy.

I rarely play video games. Close to never.

Why is it?! More than half of worlds population never saw TV, don't know that internet exist and never played a video game.

That's because they don't have access to them. Why would anyone in the civilized world do this? Is there any relevant point too it?

Are you classifying civilised world as the world where theres an access to internet, TV and video games?

I think that civility lies way beyond that.

Yeah, I consider the civilised world as the modern world. You may not agree, but whatever the case, I think you know what I mean.

Again, is there a relevant reason to do this "TV turn off week" thing?

I do this for weeks at a time... it's called summer

You dont use the Internet, televison, or video games at all during the summer?

The point is for children mostly, and how parents should limit their exposure to the afore mentioned.

And it's the internet you're not using, not the computer itself.

I'm testing my self discipline this way
I'm alotting myself one DVD movie a day and only before 7 pm.

Maybe instead of suddenly withholding this stuff from kids after allowing them to use them regularly, they should have limited their usage of these items to begin with.

And what, they won't let the kids use these things for a week, then the kids will gorge themselves when the week is up with video games, tv and the internet.

The internet is something I need to use and want to use, so that's not gonna work out.

The only think I actually couldn't live without is music. I could literally survive, but it'd be an existance not worth enduring.
