Colossus will probably get stomped by Surfer. Guys like Thanos, King Thor, Tyrant, could slap Surfer with little or no effort. Guys like Quasar, Genis Vell, and normal Thor could do it, but their gonna have a much harder time doing it, and usually the fight ends up going either way for the lower powered guys like them.

i think everyone forgot to mention GLADIATOR.

Surfer can beat Gladiator.
He's too versatile with his cosmic powers.

Surfer knows his radiation weakness. I know it's cheap, but Surfer would use it if Gladiator keeps insisting on fighting.

SS can beat Gladiator without radiation as well.

Well it seems like nobody has an easy time beating the silver surfer. Why isn't he on a team like Thor is on the avengers. Even Sentry is on the new avengers. Maybe they should make a new or Ultimate Defenders. That would be cool.

Surfer has been an honoury Avenger and a Defender. He moves around a lot. He is tough but not as tough as many on this forum think. Thor has shown him up, to name one of the many. He varies greatly with writers. He cured the Hulk once in Hulk 250, series 1 you know.

yes Thanos is where I draw the line.

Anyone below him Surfer can win/ or give good battle.

Anyone above that he doesn't have a change.

But Surfer will become keeper in the future and will be one of the top dawgs of marvel and will have a place with the abstract.

Your right, Silver Surfer can be beaten. Not easily though. What if Surfer had a bad attitude like Carnage and didn't hesitate to use weaknesses of others or use his full power at the beginning of his battles. Their would be a lot of dead heroes and villains by now.

Pre crisis superman would chuck a planet or two at him.

And like KgKg - I'd say Thanos is about the cut off point for SS.

Anyone above Thanos and Surfer doesn't stand much of a chance.

Pre-crisis Superman uses sunlight, right? The Silver Surfer can absorb that. If not, Surfer could always use the power cosmic to emit Kryptonite radiation. It wouldn't come down to a fist fight.

Ironman has various suits of armor he can create.
Savage Hulk only needs one punch.
Hell, he can throw something huge at surfer and then run up and hit him.
(I know surfer moves faster than light, but not all the time. Besides it takes time to build up that kind of speed, even seconds, thats all the time Hulk needs. Hulk is no slow-poke.)
Gladiator fully confident is comparable to pre-crisi supes.
Flash can move go from 0 to mach speeds in seconds and he can go to lightspeeds in a couple more seconds with the speedforce.
Plus, Infinite mass punch=k.o.
Solomon Grundy. The strong version. You know what I'm talking about.
Fate. He is Fate. see powers/feats. Speaka for itself.
Not Gambit, New son Gambit. He is a godlike mutant.

None of Tony Stark's armor's can put him in Silver Surfer's league of power.

The Silver Surfer can take alot more than one punch from the Savage Hulk. Savage Hulk wouldn't even be able to think about throwing a punch before he gets blasted into the bottom of a crater.

Silver Surfer doesn't always move at greater than light speeds in his comic books. However, if he were going all out, he would.

The Flash isn't fast enough to land a punch on the Silver Surfer. Flash had to run around the world twice to muster enough velocity for an "infinity mass punch." He wouldn't have that kind of time.

Gladiator, while fully confident, is vulnerable to radiation. I really don't see Pre-crisis Superman beating the Silver Surfer, either. He performed a quite a few ridiculous feats that got ret-conned. Big whoop.

Dr. Fate is not the abstract "fate." He's a sorcerer powered by the Helmet of Nabu.

Solomon Grundy cannot beat the Silver Surfer under any circumstances.

Provide more information on this "God-like Gambit."

If Surfer is going all out, using all of his power, none of these guys could stand before him.
