Old Gods (from godworld, before they were all killed)

versus all of:

Olympians
Titans of Myth
Asgardians
Egyptian Pantheon gods
Kryptonian Pantheon Gods
New Gods (new genesis)
New Gods (apokolips)
Jin-En-Mok
Triarch

.

The pantheonic gods of the DCU are the result of the destruction of the old gods. The old gods existed on a planet called godworld at the centre of the universe. When they were destroyed, they unleased a wave of energy called the 'godwave'. When this wave comes into contact with other life forms, it gives them godlike powers, which is how the pantheonic gods were created.

Mider
what comic was godworld shown in?

eleveninches
I cant remember. But i know that the old gods were the uber-strong multi-dimentional gods that existed before all current pantheonic gods, and that their destruction caused the creation of the other gods.

colossus17
what were their powers?

Zahit
they had a healing factor and some metal....

eleveninches
I dont think their powers have really been solidly defined, but they were a lot more powerful than any other pantheon gods.

I even read somewhere that the source was the only remaining member of the old gods

K Von Doom
Well... if the Source is just ONE member.

eleveninches
Yeah, you see my point.

They are the predecessors of and are far more powerful than all of the:
Olympians
Titans of Myth
Asgardians
Egyptian Pantheon gods
Kryptonian Pantheon Gods
New Gods (new genesis)
New Gods (apokolips)
Jin-En-Mok
Triarch
Promethian Giants
