Well this is the latest ive found, and this is the most exciting thing ive herd about the Spidy 3 villin. And yes Dock Ock i have proof....To my surprise when i was serfign the web the4 other day, i stumbled across an ionterview with Thomas Haden Church. He talked about his hard training for Spiderman 3, and all alot of training. He also said when they asked about the villin that he cant say to them directly who he will be but what he said is that the rumers point to Venom. Then he says that this will be the hardest role hes ever played, and that hes had to get into excellent shape. Now for everyone out there....who keeps thinkign that Venom will be impossibkle for him to play becasue Eddie Brock is alot younger character, hollywood can make a 50 year old guy to look in there 20's....it IS possible and it IS who Thomas will be playin. Venom is coming to Spiderman 3, and if you think this is impossible, then think again. All they have to do for him to be Venom is bulk him up and cut off the hair, its that simple.

Church has been in Los Angeles lately for wardrobe fittings and "being in the mud all day. They did plaster casts of my body for prosthetics. They also wanted to cut my hair to get an idea for (computer) animators (to determine) what my look will be."

He's also mum on whom he'll play when director Sam Raimi starts shooting near year's end. Rumors swirl that Church will be Venom, a classic villain from Spidey comics.

He's been training at a gym in Kerrville, and he may make two more movies before Spider-Man 3 starts to roll.

If you really read that and piocked out a few things,....everythign does pont to Venom..cutting his hair, workign out, bulking up....he VENOM....

It wouldn't make sense to have venom as the bad guy in this film. It would bring up more questions and still leave us wanting answers. Like the whole harry thing? They should really have Peter in the Black suit before venom is introduced.

if this is true then it will either be a 4-5 hour movie where everything is explained or this will be a 2 hour film where everything is rushed and not explained

I have herd thigns about there beign 6 spidy movies so if that is true maybe Sam will stretch the Venom story over 2 movies.....just a thought....

Ok I'm going to address this post because I love tearing down your BS theories piece by piece.

First of all that link to the supposed interview you provided does not work.Provide us with the proper link.

Secondly Church is bound under contract not to say who the villain is or who he even MIGHT be.If that interview is real (and I highly doubt it is) Church will either be sued and fired or just fired.

Thirdly you think that the fact he's been doing physical training means that he'll be Venom.What villain role doesn't require physical training???

You ever hear of a little thing called stunts?? Yes stunts are hard to do especially if you're playing the villain who fights Spider-Man.You have to be physically fit.

Heres a shocker for you-Willem Dafoe and Alfred Molina also trained their asses off in preparation for their roles.Did that mean they would be Venom too??

Ock is on da money, Sandman will be the SM3 villain.

Both Raimi and Tobey have said that he is their favorite Spider-Villain, and they'd love to see him on the big screen.

In the special movie issue of Wizard Raimi was asked if he has chosen a villain yet his response?

"I believe we've determined now who the villains are in the movie. We're not at liberty to say, because Sony Pictures and Avi Arad really want a big splash."

So we know that there is going to be more than one villain in S3. Mebbe it will be Sandy and Harry-turned-Hobgoblin, or even Doc "The Lizard" Conners. Personally, I'm hoping the introduce the Black Cat, and have a love triangle form between Spidey,MJ, and Felicia.

It also rips apart the topic creators info, because the guy that was interviewed would have been sued to death by Marvel and Sony for ruining the plot. I doubt he would slip up that hard and reveal that info, that...and the guy is old as ****.

if Venom was gonna be the villain they would have set it up at the end of Spidey two....I"m a Venom fan...but Spidey four would be a better fit for him...trust me.

Heres what i think should happen...

Hob-Goblin and Sandman or Lizard, main villians in SM 3, fair enough. Spidey battles them, blah blah blah...M.J....Etc

Side-Story: Jamesons son goes off into space and gets the Smybiote,
Petey has the black suit in the last fight against Hob-Goblin or Sandman, then he gets rid of it, Eddie walks down an ally.
