First of all it would be unfair to compete WETA digital with ILM . ILM have been around longer and have therefore done more films. So lets narrow it down a bit to LOTR's possible nearest rival: Potter.

Which films had the best effects, Harry Potter(1-3) or The Lord Of The Rings???

My vote goes to Lord of The Rings.

Well I like both ILM and WETA.
So................... I'll split them down the center and call it 50/50

i thought star wars was cool...

ILM is much more inovative. They are the ones that come up with new effects.
You can't compare LOTR and Potter. They are in different classes. You can compare LOTR and the SW prequals. I think there it is clear that SW is better and that ILM is better.

What are you talking about? Star Wars' effects were too much. there was too much to do. Star Wars (the prequels) weren't very good.
