I agree with Mider (o.o)... Never thought I'd say those words...

Asmodel's like a Celestial. Thanos isn't taking down a guy of his calibur without some sort of prep-time. He'll need quite a bit of it too. Isn't Asmodel more powerful in heaven?

don't forget, while the other justice leaguers stood around in awe, superman went mano-e-mano with asmodel for a time and held his own! but, i also think asmodel would win this fight. he is an awesome character and enormously powerful.

Asmodel was kicking the crap of the Martian Manhunter and then Superman appears and says "Jonzz you have done enough, Ill take it from here"

And the JLA watched in awe.

thanos takes it....god dammit....dont u know who thanos is .....he is like really tall and has like purpole skin and stuff...also he can lift like really heavy things like cars and big doors..he takes it

Actually it depends. He came down to Earth as a rogue. So he was much much much weaker. However in the Underworld event his true colors were shown.

yeah, he was weaker on earth - barely strong enough to demolish the entire jla until supes arrived! and supes wrestled him a la jacob v the angel. i doubt supes have actually beaten him. yah, asmodel was pretty 'weak' . . .

that scene where all the dc icons are watching superman in awe was one of the greatest scenes i've ever read in a comic. anyone doubts supes's power, or that he's capable of beating almost anyone, should read that arc in jla. something like 7 or 8 of the recent series.

Too inspecific on the versions of the characters.

i assume its the 'earthly' asmodel vs the normal (non-gimmick) thanos.
