hey everyone!
i need to buy a laptop, and I need help picking one out. I know what I want, and if anyone has any recommendations it would really help me out.
I want something wireless with LAN capabilities or better , but can plug into a regular computer....also lightweight with the capability of hooking up extra hardware through the USB ports.
I want a really good graphics card, and a CD/DVD RW combo
I need a lot of memory.
something with a really nice XP package.
a processor somewhere around a 2.4GHz/1MB l2 Cache or better.
and definetly theft and damage insurance
even if you dont know anything specifically, if there are any brands that you highly recommend, please let me know. there really arent any reports out there that have like a top ten list of reliable computer brands. I've heard Hewlett Packard is the best, followed by Dell and then Gateway.
