ok......but out of all the starwars movies it was the worst one except for the lightsaber fight at the end

The ONLY reason I like Episdoe II is because it's Star Wars...

And those seismic charges from Slave I and the little bit on Tatooine.

Man, Episode II really does suck.

I can't even like it even though it was star wars, episode 1 and 2 were horrible movies.

Ep 1 was the worst star wars movie ever heres how I would rate them

1) Return of the Jedi
2) Revenge of the Sith
3) Attack of the Clones
4) Empire Strikes Back
5) New Hope
6) Phantom Menace

The Phantom Menace sucked really really bad, the only good thing about it was Qui-gon Ginn and Darth Maul.

Here's how I would rate them:

ESB - 4.9/5
ANH - 4.5/5
ROTJ - 4/5
ROTS - 4/5
TPM - 3.5/5
AOTC - 2/5

I thought TPM was one of the better movies imo

TPM was a great movie. Second only to esb and rots IMO.

The worst by far.....by far was a new hope. The only reason I like that is because it is star wars.

Why do you need to explain why ANH is second only to ESB? What is there to explain?! It was the first Star Wars ever; if it was so stale, why do you even bother LIKING Star Wars? It IS Star Wars! It's the epitome of! The overused plot was intended; George was a softie for B-movies and overused plots.

That's the brilliance of it! It is the classic storyline... and it is done so well.

Yup! And to say otherwise is heresy against all of Star Wars. George drew all of the stuff for the OT from cheesey lines and overused storylines and ancient mythology and so on.

Indeed... Everything is drawn from ancient mythology... The whole Star Wars saga is pretty much plagiarised!

Anyone who likes a movie from the PT above a movie from the OT should not call themselves Star Wars fans. My list is as follows;
1. ESB
2. ANH
3. RotJ
4. RotS
5. TPM
6. AotC

Why, because those are the order from 1 being best and 6 being worst that they are. That's what it is. That's it. #1 is the best and #6 is the worst.

If TPM was the first SW movie released people today will love the prequels and dis the sequels only because " it was the first one i saw therefore its the best". ANH was rubbish. THE worst SW movie ever

TESB = 8.2/10
AOTC = 7.9/10
ROTJ = 6.1/10
TPM = 5/10

its nothing to do with being the first, its to do with alec guiness, good direction, a f*cking fantastic story and some real emotion...

rots doesnt come close imo...

Why the hell does everyone feel that they have to rate them? I don't have a specific order, I enjoy each one of them for their own qualities. Aren't they suppossed to be one story anyway?

i didn't like a new hope really. I watched it for the first time 5 years ago, so that's probably why, but still, it just seemed pathetic. They got better. Vader just sounds too unvaderlike in it, in the first scene where he basically throws a temper tantrum telling everyone to search the ship and find the princess alive.

i love the pisodes with anakin no EVIL!!

No. i just have my own opinion just as you have yours. Personaly i like the prequels very much and watch atleast one of the 6 every day (yes the entire 2 hours). I could sit here and call you crazy for expressing your opinion and we will just go round in circles.

1. ROTJ - it's the end of anakin and finales are the best
2. ROTS - it's got cool fight scenes
3. TESB - good ending
4. TPM - it was funny and cool with qui-gon n Darth maul
5. ANH - shows you about luke, leia, han but not much action
6. AOTC - because it didn't make much sense and I only saw it once in 2002

or maybe 3. TPM, 4. TESB
