The only thing these games really have in common is the fact they are 3rd person so they are hard to compare. SC looks better and is more indepth but GoW is action packed. Both have good stories. I can't decide, they are both very good.
You should have had God Of War versus Ninja Gaiden seeing so it takes most of it's cues from NG. In which case I'd vote for NG!
