His martial arts training alone gives him an edge and allows him to a very deadly opponent without his father's rings.
Now add his rings and Kang has no chance.

His MA skill level is so high he can even shatter the force field of IM's armor, and he can use his rings with considerable efficency even if he's the owner from a short time compared to his father.
Kang's armor grants him Class 5 of strenght, possess a personal force field, which Temugin can certainly destroy, and energy blast and other weapons, but the rings are more powerful and even without them, the Mandarin's Son is winning.
