Primitive Screwhead
Ok, something a little different. I'll give a list of four names, movie titles, character names, etc. and one on the list will not fit with the others. Bottom line, identify the "oddball" and why it shouldn't be there. For example, if I were to put:

A. Jason Lives
B. Jason Takes Manhattan
C. Jason's Revenge
D. Jason Goes to Hell

The obvious answer would be C, as the others are actual episode titles from the Friday the 13th Series.

Feel free to add your own as this progresses. Here's a couple to tide you over:

List 1:

A. Sean Bean
B. Jonathan Pryce
C. Donald Pleasance
D. Geoffrey Rush

List 2:

A. Apollo 13
B. Saving Private Ryan
C. Forrest Gump
D. The Green Mile

List 3:

A. Bullet Tooth Tony
B. Hatchet Harry Lonsdale
C. Frankie Four Fingers
D. Doug the Head

List 4:

A. Dog Day Afternoon
B. One Flew Over the Cuckoos Nest
C. Jaws
D. Godfather, Part II

Cinemaddiction
List 1:

D. Geoffrey Rush - Aussie, not a Brit actor.

List 2:

B. Saving Private Ryan - The only movie of the 4 that didn't star both Gary Sinise and Tom Hanks.

List 3:

B. Hatchet Harry Lonsdale - "Lock, Stock,.." while the other 3 are from "Snatch".

List 4:

Totally stumped...

Primitive Screwhead
1. Well, I guess there's a couple of reasons why Geoffrey Rush is the odd man out, good thing it worked out that way. He's also the only one that didn't play an arch villain in the Bond series.

2. Nope. Sinise wasn't in Green Mile either. Second guess, Cory?

3. Yup. Easy peasy.

4. Won't give it away yet, but it doesn't have anything to do with the cast members.

1) Hmmph, not a Bond fan, seen maybe 2 movies in my life. Glad it still worked.

2) On the contrary, my friend..

3) Excellent.

4) If nobody else guesses, spill the beans.

BTW, What were you looking for in No. 2 anyway?

Odd one out = The Godfather, Part II

Why? All the others contain phrases or words pertaining to the animal kingdom.

2. Well, I'll be. Now that I see it, I believe it. Extra credit for you. I was going for Forrest Gump as the answer... the only Tom Hanks film of the four that won Best Picture.

4. Godfather Part II... released in 1974. The others released in 1975. I suppose Ou Be's answer would work on some level.... or not.

Primitive Screwhead

5. Not sure, but all but 9/11 were flops, lol.

6. Red, not one of the colors designated to the robbers in "Reservoir Dogs".

7. All Shakespearean actors, or atleast appeared in Shakespeare plays/films.

Primitive Screwhead
6 was too easy.

LOL on 5, but that's not it. Right idea, though.

7. Yeah, they've all done Shakespeare, but there is a separating factor in their overall accomplishment.

Throw some back at me while you're at it. No one else is contributing yet, and I want this thread to gain some steam.

D seems to be the only commonly known name for a U.S. released film. The others are probably obscure if the even pertain to a film name at all. At least that's my guess.

Still waiting on the following:

List 5:
A. Fahrenheit 9/11
B. Christmas with the Kranks
C. Catwoman
D. Scooby Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed

List 7:

B. Michael Gambon

The first three are part of the '3 Colors' Trilogy...French Cinema, baby...French Cinema...

Primitive Screwhead
Never would have gotten that... my taste for French cinema became somewhat skewed after watching Amelie and Triplets of Belleville. But I digress...

Hey, Cory... any final guesses on these other two? Anyone else?
