Still, just to be on the safe side, no matter what the truth is, I think George W. should be neutered. Just to be safe.

Despite from the fact that you spelled JFK's name wrong and despite the fact that you used "there" in your comment instead of "their", it is your naivete in thinking that only Democratic presidents have used their power and position to get their boards' waxed in the whitehouse that makes me wonder if you ever had a lucid thought of your own pass between your ears.

Which comment? The reach around, or the Jeff Gannon part?

I belive clinton was the president who cheated on his wife and lied to the public about it.

I believe that Clinton was one OF MANY Presidents that cheated on his wife and lied about it.

Yep. It's quite common knowledge that many presidents through out history had mistresses or cheated on their wives. Clinton wasn't the first.

what amazes me is how brainwashed certain people are.
as if democrats represent all that is polluted, perverted, filthy, and unholy, while republican presidents piss rainbows and crap sunshine,
just because of their political ideal.

Well, conversly, Democrats often feel the same way regarding their candidates.

PVS
not really.

i find that many on the left have a realistic view of politics and
though they might support a particular candidate, they wouldnt worship and trust him unconditionally. during clinton's term, i never heard the line "i support clinton in whatever he does". have you?

to blindly trust a politician and loyally salute him as he drives you and everyone else off a cliff is the mentallity i see today. i never saw such blind love for any democratic candidate on such a wide scale.

not to generalise, but from conversations i had before the last election, i didnt hear many people regard kerry as such a great wonderful man...have you? it was more like..."well...bush is the antichrist and kerry is just another billionare a$$hole...i'll vote kerry"

Well, yeah really.

I mean, in reality it illustrates a flaw in the game plan that democrats have been using. I agree there is much more blind faith mentality on teh right, but if the democrats can't find someone who inspires devotion....then they shouldn't run that person for president. And Kerry was a joke...I realize that, but democrats did the same thing with Clinton...they still do to some extent.

"bush is antichrist" Sounds like the Republicans you described, minus the pissing rainbows. I'm going to have to agree with Capt here.

you ignore the whole point just to pick one part out and run with it? ok fine.
let me rephrase my thought process so that it's more palatable for you:

both candidate were typical fakeass politicians. i found kerry to be the less....dangerous option. however, i never believed that kerry was a great man. i see them for exactly what they are, and then go on to weigh the pros and cons of each. (still trying to find a single pro for bush to no avail). i think many on the left and those who straddle the fence have the same basic outlook. that outlook is "who is the lesser scumbag". not a positive one, but a realistic one.

there will always be politicians that i (we) feel very strongly against (thus my 'antichrist' comment). but you know what? no state has ever been hijacked by a leader who is hated by the people. however, when unconditional trust is given, and when you hear the words "i support our leader in whatever he does" bleated by the masses, then get ready to kiss your civil liberties goodbye and listen for the sounds of goosestepping outside your window.

our way of democracy was built on a system of checks and balances. it was structured with a tremendous feeling of mistrust for power. our founding fathers put laws into place with one timeless message "don't EVER trust us"
