Sonic the Hedgehog, no doubt he is a legend

My vote goes to the Master Chief (spartan 117) in Halo just cause he's such a kick ass and different character with his super human strength and stuff.
Ohh and that would be closely followed by mario...even though theirs no explanation for how he can jump so damn high and for all his other powers but he's still cool.

Link because he's so herioc, and more importantly, noble. For example at the end of Ocarina of Time, during that rendered video montage of all of the characters you're reminded of just how many characters Link helped out during the course of the game, and somehow it made playing him feel even better.

My favorite video game character is Tommy Vercetti from GTA.Vice City. He has got to be the baddest man from all the video games. He doesn't care what people think of him which is cool. My other character is Predator from Predator:Concrete Jungle because how he kills people because of their sins. Especially when he cleans their skulls.

Currently it's samus aran .

the frog from chrono trigger, or Yoshimitsu, atleast he is my favorite in kicking ass and I mean come on the man can use his sword as a pogo stick, that's pretty awesome.
