Any of you know where I can get my hands on alternate Star Wars books/drafts (Ep. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 and/or 6) where Luke's character was played by a female character? I've seen early production art but was curious if anyone has rewritten the story to have a female character instead.

Are you sure that exists?

It was just concept artwork from the 70s. I'm not sure if it was ever supposed to be a female character or if it was just a bad drawing. I believe Ralph MacCullum drew those. I have a few pics somewhere if I can find them I can get scans.

GL thought about making Luke female... But he didn't

I couldn't find any more Luke Concept art, that's the problem of having too many books, but I did find Vader, Stormtroopers and Yoda. I'm just going to leave links so dial up users don't die.

I guess that alternate universe doesn't exist . I just heard from a friend of mine who heard it from another friend that one did exist and now we are trying to search all the forums/search engines for any hint of there being one. Let me know if you guys find anything. Thanks.

All it was was before Lucas created the movies he planned Luke to be a woman but he changed that idea so nothing moved forward with Luke being a girl because it was BEFORE the movie was made.

yeah, I thought that some other writer decided to write a series of stories or there were some drafts out there on the star wars series with a female hero instead of Luke.
