Batman has one week prep time. Storm and Batman fight in gotham city.

If he was one week to prepare for Storm and knows about her powers....
She's dead.

Finally a thread in which Batman isn't dead in three seconds. Though it depends too much on the circumstances, I still give it to Batman.

With prep Batman easily. He can create one of those mutant depowering devices that shut off the x-gene and then fondle Storm all he wants.

Only catch would be that Storm could fight from a distance so that the emitter wouldn't have an effect, but knowing Bats, he'd create an emmitter that worked from orbit and covered a large radius (given enough prep, if he only has a couple hours he might not be able to pull something like that off).

If he can't shut off Storm's powers, I don't think he has Bat-Biblical Force Cataclysmic Weather Repellant, so he might be in a bit of trouble if Storm has time to cook up something ala that movie "The Day After Tomorrow". With prep, she definitely could.

with prep it's still a little debatable but he more than likely wins but w/out he stands no chance

You underestimate the Utility belt!

Storm. She has way to many powers to fight with. She weilds lightning, wind, rain, hail and frost. He cant block all of them. He scouldnt put the x-gene blocker on her. He could not even get near her she flies. He cant block all of her powers and if he make an x-gene block hell never get it on their!

with a WEEK of prep time he goes and makes an anti-weather batarang.....and then wins....ok no but he will win, just too smart with prep.

I never understood the science behind the x-gene inhibitor. How do you shut off a part of someone's genetic code? That's like having a machine that would turn off a person's racial distinction.

Even with prep time Batman's going to die. People usually (in the U.S. anyway) get prep time when hurricanes or tornadoes are heading their way, and people still die. We can't stop them so the only thing batman can do is head for the storm cellar and hope for the best or use that prep time to book a flight out of town, otherwise he's toast.

Can't he make like something like that nice OMAC project thing that could hang with Supes. That thing is narly

even with prep though it will still be a very hard match to win. and it was never explained that he knew about her powers, does he?

he doesnt need to depower her with prep, thats just one unimaginative solution. Trickery, subterfuge, etc.... he could use holographic projectors and the like to make her think she got him, then when she came down to check it out he sneaks up and batawhacks her.

I imagine he'd lay a diversion or something and while she's distracted, he hits her with.... what the heck, how about an electrified bolas. Wait a minute... explosive bolas.

That would suck if he didn't. Batman's shtick with prep is knowing what he's fighting then preparing to counter it. It's not like Dr. Strange preparing spells or Absorbing Man takin' in some steel.

With Prep Bats simple shoots a dart filled with some kind of knock out solution from somewhere where Storm cant see her.

Or he tags her with rope and simply knocks her out.

Pretty simple. Bats is stealthy. If storm doesn't know where he is, there's nothing much she can do.

How often is Storm's opener freezing the entire city?

Gotham has people in it. Storm needs to draw Batman out of the city to really fight him.
