Universal Home Video has today officially announced the new extended edition release of Ridley Scott's Oscar-winning Gladiator, which stars Russell Crowe. The three-disc set will be available to own from the 23rd August (not June as originally reported), and will add seventeen minutes of additional footage to the film. The original two hour thirty-five minute theatrical cut of the film, will also be included. We've attached a more complete spec listing below, along with our first look at the official region one package artwork:
