Is there by any Chans possibly that chewbacca will appear in star wars III?

I think we've seen Jabba enough...but who knows.

You all sound so negative....no chewbacca and no jabba.....I think they are great.

They are. In the OT.

But if they were to be used in the new episodes, the films would have been a litle better just because of them, and you would also get that old feeling of the old star wars movie.

Chewbacca being in the prequels would be messed up. He lives on Kashyyyk, is captured by Imps, saved by Han. He never met Anakin or Ob1 before Ep. IV.

It's not canon because Lucasfilm say it isn't.

But it's hardly a crime to feel confident about the EU's depcition of how Han and Chewie met.

So what? That doesn't make it canon.

As was clearly stated by Lucasfilm in the first issue of Insider, canon can only be applied to the films, screenplays, scripts and radio dramas. And the last three are only 'semi-canon'.

EU products are 'official', but not canon. They occupy their own continuity.

But I think GL got some inspiartion for the new trilogy from a comic, it had Double edged lightsabers and Jedi starfighters
and it was made in '94,but I don't think he'll admit it.

He can take inspiration from whatever he wants, of course, but that doesn't make any of it canon. It just means he likes it.

Well, as long as he likes it, I'm fine.

btw. Aayla Secure is a comic character but she's in AOTC...
