Which is the stronger of the two?

By ANH Obi didn't train for years, living in a environment with very little enemy's, or at least nothing superior to him. Jolee lived in the shadowlands for 20 or so years, and the shadowlands were incredibly dangerous.

and the jolee went on to fight alongside revan but ANH obi did fight vader

Fighting alongside somebody does not make you great, just known...

The guy did have balls though. Attacking Revan knowing full well what the power of the Dark Lord was...

Ben Kenobi beat Anakin and Maul, not to mention he probably would of killed Vader if he didn't kill himself to become EVEN stronger...

Yeah he beat Maul and Vader before suit and he does own. But he has not fought anybody real for more then twenty years. Jolee did, he still knows how to fight. And why do you think he would have won? I've never seen him even get an edge on Vader he actually seemed weaker in that fight.

I don't think so. He was smiling during alot of the fight and making fun of Vader.

Uh, when you're fighting as much as Revan did you will get stronger, watching Revan fight alone would probably make you stronger, learning his brilliant techniques, etc.

Anywho, Jolee is more powerful than most give him credit for IMO, he lived in the Shadowlands of Kashyyyk for many years, a lot of wookies are scared to go down there and for good reason, many died. He killed four of those Bull Katarn things without breaking a sweat. That was of course, before he met Revan and multiplied his power. So I say Jolee wins this pretty easily.

This is a good point, but we don't know for sure Ben Kenobi didn't fight anyone, Tatooine is a very dangerous planet as well, maybe not as dangerous as Kashyyyk, but still is has its troubles. On this planet you have the Tusken Raiders that can try and raid his home, Krayt Dragons coming out of the canyons and caves, smugglers, thieves, and etc. Most likely he had to fight someone or something and maybe even in great numbers.

Not even close to the dangers Jolee faced.. Seriously the shadowlands are far more dangerous then Tatooine is

True...I was just trying to point out that Ben Kenobi was not totally without experience for those twenty years, between episode III & IV. There still is struggle between these two old hermits. And if I'm not mistaken Darth Maul returned in one comic to assinate Luke Skywalker as a child and Ben Kenobi fought him again and won...if this is true...he sure worked his skills in this battle.

He isn't bad, he just didn't fight as much as Jolee did. There is a difference between killing a few people now and then that are hardly worth fighting and killing a lot of creatures that almost everybody has a hard time with.

Jedi travelled around in those area's killing a lot of creatures but Wookies got their asses handed there, most humans didn't even come there to scary. Tatooine still had people walking everywhere I really don't think you can compare the two. Jolee has a lot more recent experience then Obi does. Don't get me wrong I love the old guy but against an old guy like Jolee? Don't give him much of a chance

I say that Obi1 would win. We don't know if ben was just there at his hut all the time. The desert has many dangers. And don't forget that all that time alone he was getting stronger with the force. Like the little greeeen frieend says: "Great warrior, hmm? Wars not make one great." So with this I mean that the fact that Jolee's always fighting don't make him more powerful.

Ben Kenobi: (1) Has a beard (2) Is a hermit (3) Has funny comebacks (4) Guides a Jedi (Luke Skywalker) (5) Disappeared from the face of the galaxy to only rise again to sacrifice his life for the Republic. (6) Lived in a hut.

These two have alot in common. They are equal in many traits...But in battle who is the greatest swordsman? Jolee did come from a more dangerous world than Tatooine, but fighting creatures in not the same as fighting another swordsman.

And to clarify, which Jolee Bindo I'm talking about is the one that just gets of Kashyyyk...the same for Ben Kenobi right when he just gets off Tatooine.

In that case its going to be harder for Jolee but I still think he would win, he still survived the Shadow Lands. And no fighting a creature is different then fighting a guy with a lightsaber but neither of them did that any time recently and then it depends on other things. Jolee trained his skills more then Obi did

Ben Kenobi fought Darth Maul for the second time at his old age and won...

the thing where ben kenobi faught maul was the single gayest thing i have ever seen in my entire 18 years....aside from maybe the tv show The Dootlebops.

actually.....it was not cool in any way, and is unrealistic, and would never happen.

first off, maul looked so queer with those metallic legs.

second, ben kenobi would get owned by maul.

Well he didn't...you just underestimated Ben Kenobi...he's a tough old man.

that comic, or whatever it was, has no credibility in the SW universe, in my opinion.

I have on more reason Jolee would win. Look at the location, a forest. All Obi has seen in the last 20 years is a shit load of sand Jolee knows the forest he lived a long time in the forest nice advantage to him.

Ben Kenobi in full has more experience, he's a Jedi Master...and Jolee Bindo I would say is only a Jedi. And your statement about Jolee living in the forest and being used to it and can go to Yavin IV and beat Ben Kenobi...there is no logic in that. A Jedi can adapt to their surroundings. Jolee would not survive...

A Jedi can adopt, but there is always an advantage when you are fighting somewhere you know. Not much but hey it would help him.

And More experience? From what 3 years of war? Jolee fought during Exar Kun times, became a smuggler fought a shit load of other people and did a lot of things that I don't remember because his story's made me want to fall asleep.

Now technically you are right, Obi is a Master and Jolee is a Padawan. A Padawan that left the order more then 20 years ago refusing his title as knight, which he would have gotten a lot earlier if it was not for the war. So that really doesn't mean shit

IMO jolle is a master of the force and were he lived was hermit lie so i liked that i thought yoda when i seen his house but back on topic id say jolee would beat ben

Ben Kenobi is a Jedi Master...during Jolee's time on Kashyyyk, he wasn't past the rank of Padawan. Ben Kenobi in full has the most experience...Jolee may have fought alot of creatures in his time, but fighting creatures, instead of another person is completely different. Ben on the other hand was able to beat Darth Maul for a second time in is ripe old age...that takes skill. Jolee may have fought in the wars of Exar Kun, but as Yoda says "Wars not make one great."...the same goes for Ben for the Clone Wars. Old Ben would have this one.
