Ok all i remember are 2 scenes (i think i was like 8 when i saw it)

1) girl swimming in an indoor pool ... dives under and then can't get back out from under the water because the pool has iced over or been covered with glass or something. she drowns and when she is found the pool is mysteriously normal.

2) girl is showering and after the initial getting wet she turns around and closes her eyes to wet her head and the water turns to blood.

i like to think i remember this exactly how it was in the movie ... but i'm not sure.

for some reason i thought it was called "the house" but i can't find any information on it ANYWHERE!!!!

i think from what i read here its a movie called THE LEGACY?(1978)
starring Katharine Ross and sam elliot i saw it way back in 1980 on video i loved this movie roger daltery from the who is in it he gets an emergency trachyotomy (if thats how u spell it?)
