What is the better game, and who has the better characters, debate poll and discuss.

I find SC to be deeper, the story somehow finds a way to be more soulful, but I know both games are pretty shallow. I prefer the friendlyness of SF and the familiarity of RYU....
I am currently seeing SF win in a battle, but it's actually pretty close...

Street fighter

I'm going to go with SF

soul calibur is like the halo of fighting games, with its polishedness and shine.

but the gaming can get button mashing

Street fighter has more famous characters, but isn't as polished and innovative as SC.

And SF had world tour which i liked a little more than weapon quest.

both of them are revolutionary games that sure are the greatest of all fighting games(in my opnion) , both of them have a good history and many different kind of fighters , but i dont see where soul calibur could win in a direct fight against the power of the sf , sc guy are strong , but the sf guys are far more powerfull .
