Many people have lived through it, and some were very young, and others weren't alive. When they announced a sequel to the original Star Wars in the late seventies, what did you say at the time or what do you think you would have said at the time if you were too young?
I was born in '72, so I faintly remember them announcing that a Star Wars sequel was being made. At the time, I didn't really have an opinion, other that I wanted to see it.
But if it was today, the way sequels are usually made, I probably would be skeptical. I probably would have wanted it to happen, but not have much expectations. I would probably say, "Don't screw up a good thing, you have the most popular movie of all-time, how are you going to top that! Just let it rest, and it won't taint the original."
