Black Cat sucks, lol. I never liked her...especially not in the game. I thought that part was annoying as balls, I couldnt' wait to get done it.

Can't stand her.A useless character.

I think she's cool, but I liked the cartoon version better. She actually has powers on par with Spider-man.

I think she's pretty cool. I especially liked her in the Ultimate series.

Black Cat is tight.

Her first Ultimate appearance...that panel. She looked so ****ed up.

Otherwise, she's a dumbass. In love with Spider-Man, but NOT Peter Parker? ***** plz.

I thought she was an interesting character in the original series, amazing spiderman. Mary Jane had dissed peter, and he was heartbroken....they had good synergy as characters.....but thanks to crappy writting and the fact that they always wanted Peter to be with MJ they wrote her once complex character off as a slute.

Also, she loves spiderman and not peter because SHe finds that regular peters life style boring, bland, she became a cat burglar out of desperation, but she certainly enjoyed the thrill of it.

Peter represents what she doesn't want in her life. Spiderman does. Couragous, selfless, strong, mysterious, witty. However peter is the opposite of these things. (hence why it's normally a shock when people figure out his double life.)

I liked her in the Spiderman 2 game. The last level with her on top of the warehouse is easy cos you just let her do all the fighting!

She's great in Marvel Knights Spidey, the tension between her and Mj is very well portrayed...

As for Felicia not wanting Peter but Spider-Man, I know the backstory of it all where she screams "PETER, PUT YOUR MASK BACK ON!" or whatever, but I think that's incredibly lame. I mean, Peter Parker IS Spider-Man, it's just a matter of being a superhero and being a photographer. He's still the witty Spider-Man, just without the mask.

And that, I find, is stupid, for her to turn down Spidey for him being Peter Parker.

I not really a big fan of hers but maybe you guys can prove me wrong. Somebody should list of all of her high lights. What has she done thats so great.

She's intelligent, athletic, courageous- she's gone up against and held her own against powerful enemies even when lacking powers herself, she wears black...

She took on Carnage without a second thought.

Another good point is that her suit looks awesome

dodson imo is one of the best spidey artists in a long time... despite next venom_girl's apparent dislike...

Why does everyone hate Blackcat? I think shes cool. Its been already said she holds her own in fights plus she wears leather suits or whatever that very thin material is........

I started my interest in Spidey from the 90s Animated Series.....so my perception of Cat was a bit different. I loved Felicia's character throughout the entire series and when they showed trailers of her becoming the Cat, I think I hit puberty....(jk). I was like "daaayaaamnn......" Jennifer Hale's voice changed from the whiny snobby rich girl voice to the seductive superheroine one. I was annoyed she never found out who Spider-man was however.

After that, I started reading the comics and liked her a lot. Still prefer the cartoon portrayal though.

I only like her in the cartoons

What's the deal with the black cat with the super soldier power? Is she suppose to be a female Captain America rip-off? I always liked when she had the power to effect things with actually bad luck. Now that was a great marvel idea.

ya...never quite knew why they did that...maybe just artistic license.

It wasn't directly leading up to the Captain America storyline either. They just wanted to make Felicia stronger more easily I guess, since she wasn't an Olympic-level athelete/martial artist in the cartoon. The super-soldier formula would make her immediately super-strengthed...also kinda parallels the idea of Kingpin giving her powers in the comics.

Alright, so I must say that after reading Marvel Knights Spidey, Black Cat is definitely one of the better characters now. I think it was Millar writing, but nonetheless, she was extremely fun to read in that book.

I have a question about the ultimate black cat. I mean she "died" in issue 53 i believe than in issue 81 she reappears and spidey doesnt seem shocked that shes alive he just says something along the line of not you too! Did she come back anywhere in between those issues I have mostly everything but im missing like 6 issues in between.

He never found her body, she just disappeared. His lack of surprise may be attributed to the fact that he had just been nearly beaten senseless by Hammerhead.

Did issue 82 or 83 whichever one is the new one with her on the cover come out yet? Im curious how they explain her disappearing.

Anyone picked up the latest Spidey/Black Cat #4/#5? Talk about mature topics... I did like the fact that the title page for #4 says "3 years in the making (and hardly worth the wait)" Hahahah..Kevin Smith knows fans have been rolling their eyes.

My money would be on Black Cat. I mean, BC is more gutsy, and a lot cooler, and went after Carnage without hesitation.
