Can the greatest of the Green Lanterns stand up against the Master Magician of the Lords of Order?

First of all, this would be close, but i think Hal would eventually win. But secondly, Hal isnt the greatest (by that they mean most powerful) Green Lantern, that was just his nickname cuz he had the most heart. The greatest and most powerful GL ever was actually Alan Scott - Sentinel.

I think having the most heart is exactly why he's regarded as the greatest of the GL Corps. Someone may have more skill and strength than him, but his massive willpower allows him to overcome those people and beat them.

We also have to remember that after he was released from the Spectre and was resurrected back to life to serve as GL again, he was far more powerful than he was before he became Parallax.

Hal could also just absorb Sentinel's energy.
