Smashing Pumpkins is a great band. One of my favourite bands. Anyone else like them?

yes they own and they are going to reunite. well so far only billy corgan and the drummer (cant remember name) are in right now

Well they have reunited then (drummer = Jimmy Chamberlain).

One of my favorite bands, I love everything they (he) did apart from Machina. Billy Corgan is a ridiculously talented individual.

Billy Corgan is Gerard Way's dad! That's cool. GW is the lead singer of My Chemical romance for those who didn't know. I think onw of them is lying about their age though. Corgan says he was born in 67, and I've heard that Gerard is 28. That doesn't add up!

Well, Corgan is obviously lying. If he says that he was born in 67, then how old is he supposed to be in the song 1979, which depicts what he claims was his favorite year he had spent as a teenager. In the video, I dont know which character is supposed to be depicting him, all the teens look like they are 16 and up. Im making this assumption based on the fact that they are driving a car and hitting up parties and drinking. If he was born in 1967, I doubt he had lived a single day of his life when he was twelve during the year of 1979.

I love Smashing Pumpkins, adore the music, I like some of Corgan's solo music also, especially Mina Loy.

I tried to listen to them a while back and for some reason I just couldn't stand the lead singer's voice. Surprise, surprise...

I never really saw why so many People Worship The Smashing Pumpkins, they never really Appealed to me.

Why the random capitals?

I've been listening to Adore a lot lately. Very underrated album.

Smashing Pumpkins-in my opinion the greatest band of the 90's, Arguably of all time. Best album: MC hands down.

I love them.... It's a shame they had to brake up.
