As much as I write I figured I should start a poetry thread. For now I'll just post this link.

The Secrets/Crush

I talk to you all the time
But you try not to say too much
I opened up my thoughts to you
But you never once let me in
I confessed my love to the world
But you turned and walked away
I would've given you all of me
But what it is you want I dont know
I wanted to be the one
But you chose so many others
The secrets you keep I'll never know
But my crush I'll feel it everyday

INTERVIEW WITH A (KMC) VAMPYRE

I have walked the halls of KMC unnoticed by all
Why am I unseen by those who say they care?
My heart is barely contained in my chest
And yet my cries and screams go unheard
So many overlook my words.
As if they are too faint to hear
While I drown in the echoes of my pain
Even now who will take notice,
Of one who cowers in darkness alone
Sorrow you have returned to taunt me
Let us run away from the truth and hide away
No one will see my despair when no one sees me at all

Welcome Home
I am once again face to face with you
You warned me that our paths would meet again
I laughed at you as I put faith in others
How could I have truly believed

I am once again face to face with you
You promised I'd never have to see him again
I took comfort in the facade of your words
How could I have not seen the truth

I am once again face to face with my sorrow
Time seperated us, but it was not meant to be
That which is destined cannot be denied
How did I ever let myself forget this

An old wiman whining.
A flickering light,
Sounds of a painful fight.
But I am not insane,
The craziness is just burning me like a flame.
VAMPIRE 4(I have other poems)
I bid you fairwell,
I will leave behind this Hell.
I will wait for the sun to arise,
And my ashes will fly across the morning sky.
I bid you good bye,
Stare into my tearful eyes.
I will leave all of this,
And when the sun awakes I will
Blow a simple kiss.
I will watch from the skies above,
I will watch my ashes fly with the doves.
I bid you fairwell,
I will learve behind this Hell.

For those of you wondering when I'd write something new... Here you go. I wrote this yesterday while being half asleep. I dont have a title for it yet. I have never been good with titles, but oh well. Enjoy!

I never asked you to fall in love
Nor did I expect you to do so
You see, love isnt something I look for anymore
To me its a foolish heart's desire
One that, no matter how hard you try,
Really cant be obtained
I am sorry that I let things get this far
I hope that what I have done can be forgiven
And that your heart can recover
Although it pains me,
I have to say good-bye to this thing we have
I know you may not understand or agree
But it is truly for the best
So dont cry, I am not deserving of your tears
Just take the fun times we've had, cherish them so,
And find the one who can keep his promises

Once again sleep evades me
Not for the typical reasons
No not tonight
The cause?

All you have to do is see that the walls have fallen
Though I pretend to be numb from the things around me
I cant deny that you affect me
honestly--It scares me
But the possibilty that you will see whats true
Gives me the hope that words couldnt begin to describe
And though my thoughts are scattered
They all lead to the same place
A place that I dont have the courage to admit
All I can do is pray that someday

I was given life today
At the sacrifice of another's
The souls differ,
But the shell lingers unchanged
Though faint
The lies
The unrealized dreams
The inability to trust
All still remain
From crumbled ruins
I will start anew
Rebuilding what was lost
The journey will be long
My only companions
A journal and the words left in it
Words that I must never forget
Hope is not that far away
