You're an average hero who's been called together with other heroes to combat a universal menace - it's crunch time and you're making a last ditch attack - who would you rather have leading you into battle - Captain America, Superman, Reed Richards or Batman?

superman......just feel more confident.....when a guy like him is leading....

Cap... he's a better stratagist, makes a point of knowing everyones capabilities and putting them where they're most useful.... and he'll do whatever he has to to win

I agree with Scoobless, Cap. Never saw Reeds as a true field leader, Supes just stands there or does everything himself, Batman is to grouchy, and Cyclops is my second pick, but Cap is just the leader of leaders in my opinion

if i was an alpha class hero id pick supes because i was on his power level or close.

if i was a street level guy id feel more comfortable with cap because he is very mortal and would be more able to associate with our mortality

Captain America at the top of my list.

Kinda wanna put Reed over Cyclops, but Reed doesn't lead so much as he gets the group out of a bind.

well Cap with Martain Manhunter telepathically linking everyone seemed to be pretty succesful in JlA/Avengers. Cap is the only one to lead the entire MU, and he lead both the JlA and Avengers as well. he pretty much unsurpassed.

Actually Warlock led the heroes. There was a discussion about who would lead the force... Doom nominated himself, Cap said Warlock should lead.

I would be best field leader ever. After countless years of reading comics I know the mind and powers of each team member and how they are used best. I would have same experience then Cap has in team leading after all, I have read all his adventures and I could borrow techniques from other comic book characters. And I would know also the mind and weaknesses of each villain.

Damn, I would rule.

I always prefered the way storm lead her team, but out of the people that were put out, I would rather be with captain america, I couldn't be with cyke because I wouldn't be listening to him, I couldn't be with superman because there would be no reason to fight, I couldn't be with reed because he bugs me, and I couldn't bewith batman because he seems overrated to me

You wouldn't be listening to Cyke? Well, your problem that you get your ass killed in mission, I would listen the man who has lead the X-Men since the beginning then Storm. Seriously, he is the best field leader the X-Men have never seen. Even Wolverine listens to him.

no i wouldn't, because i really don't like him, yeah he's good, but if I were put on his team I would ask to be switched to storms or someone elses for the fact that I could never picture myself working with him. and cyke may be the best field leader the x-men have had, but storm has also lead a team he was on

In the field, I wouldn't care do I like someone or not. Most people in the army don't like their commanders. Still, in the battlefield, they don't complain that they don't like the guy. I would trust my life in the hands of the best, no the nicest. Now I'm not saying that Storm is bad field leader, she comes there right after Cyke and Cap. She is just not the best one.

oh yeah, I know she's not the best but the team dynamic and your emotions will be much better if you are following a person you like.
