kanis

I'm not sure if this has been done before, but if it hasn't I want to know what is for favorite sci fi vehicles of all time- is it the millenium falcon or the vipers from BSG any vehicle or ship you can think of.
Elrariel
Definately Boba Fett's ship, Slave I.
jerlark386
death star all the way. although Bird of Prey is cool too.
Darkstorm Zero
I could name many...
Red Superfly
Stingray
Thunderbird 3
SPV from Captain Scarlet
Millenium Falcon
X-Wing
TIE Fighter
WOTW Tripod
DeLorean
Batmobile.
and, er, Wild Wacky Action Bike!
kanis

My favorites are the vipers from BSG for sheer manuverbility and the anakin's fighter in ROTS because it looks cool and is kick ass in an battle.
gentmax
I've always like the Landspeeder. You don't get the sense of speed in space as you do over land and water. I think the Landspeeder would be more of a thrill.
kanis

Especially when racing through beggars canyon that would be kick ass dangerous, are you a pod racing fan
gentmax
Yeah, but I would be the first greasy spot on the wall, if I got a chance to drive on of those.
Wait, I almost forgot!!!!
Speeder Bikes!!! The sense of speed on those would be even more incredible that the Landspeeder!
ragesRemorse
all vehicles from "Aliens" only the second film
the x-wing
burtons batmobile
the futuristic vehicles from terminator.
Myth
The new Batmobile is cool too. Its not very suitable as the batmobile but the vehicle itself is badass.
ragesRemorse
yeah, but it wasnt very original, but i guess it did fit batman's character at the time.
vvvrulz
Burton's 89 batmobile rocks any of the last three ones we saw. Never liked the ol 'tank' in Begins..
TheFanboy
I could name quite a few and most would be from Star Wars.
Number one would have to be the Speeder Bikes from Return of the Jedi.
Myth

As Batman's vehicle, it doesn't quite fit. As a vehicle in general, I think it is badass.
kanis

You're wrong the begins bamobile kicks ass, and the only vehicle i like from aliens is the apc that they have and the dropship but it was really stupid of them to leave the ramp down when they are unarmed in a hostile area.
Alatopel
Serenity.
"Everyone go back inside, or I will blow another crater in this tiny little moon."
kanis

The lead ship in battle beyond the stars which was piloted by richard thomas from the waltons that ship rocked and it had a cool a.i
ladygrim
Death star mayb i dont kno
grade 3 ol
I havnt seen thet many but the star wars ships are cool and the Goa'uld ships rock out loud!
Myth
Millenium Falcon anybody?
kanis
starwars damn right they do the ships stargate Alantis rock but the best ship is the prototype fighter plane they created.
bilb
The Slave 1 is THE coolest, closely followed by the Falcon
kanis
starwars Yeah the millenium falcon kicks ass even though it is an old craft it still kicks the ass of the more agile yuuzhon vong coralskippers
Charlie8
I really like the Starbug out of Red Dwarf. I think it's a cool design and would be wicked to fly. Also you cant forget the TARDIS. Come in, you get to travel through time!!
kanis
starwars the klingon or the romulon bird of prey but the klingon bird of prey rocks. My favorite star trek ships are the defiant class ships and the intrepid class ( the uss voyager) and the enterprise E. The promethius from stargate sg1.
faradayslaw
Boba Fett's Slave I and the new Cylon raiders on Battlestar Galactica
Skorn254

el barto_1
gunships (half-life 2)
smiths audi from i' robot
green goblin's flying board
kanis
starwars The new cylon raiders are much better than the old ones they are more manuverable and have no kind of pilot really. Is that the movie goblin glider or the spiderman cartoon goblin Glider because the movie one is crap.
Mindship
Don't know if this would count as a "scifi vehicle," but my vote goes for the Silver Surfer's board. It's simple (less to go wrong or knock outta commission), effective (relativistic speeds to warp speeds), extremely maneuverable (by virtue of its size, if nothing else), and easy to control (by thought, no mechanisms to manipulate). Which brings me to an aside question: if the Surfer is so darn powerful, how come he needs a board to fly? (one of the great unresolved questions of comicdom, like, How come the Hulk never loses his pants)
SnakeEyes
You could get the answer to the board question pretty easily in the Comic Book section....
kanis
starwars As far as I know its a vehicle because its used for transporting him around. Which do you think is better the highwind from FF7 or the ragnorak from FF8.
Twilight Janick
N-1s (Naboo Starfighters)
Sovereign-class battleship
Speeder bike (for planetary movement)
Mandorallen
speeder bike (SW)
Millineum falcon (SW)
the predators mothership (AVP)
USS enterprise (ST)
Twilight Janick
Which Enterprise?
Mandorallen
James T. Kirks. of corse.
Twilight Janick
Oh, you meant the first Enterprise? I'd take the Enterprise-E.
kanis
starwars My favorites are the defiant and the intrepid class ships and also the akira class ships seen in FC.
dragon milly
Luke's X-wing and the Millenium Falcon
Ripcord
Millennium Falcon.....no doubt about it.
pr1983
Falcon
Defiant, Galaxy and Soveriegn Class ships from ST
X-Wing
Speeder from ESB
Hit_and_Miss
The pillar of Autumn
matchless
The Defiant, and the DeLorean from Back to the Future.
It's a DeLorean for crying out loud
kanis
starwars What the hell is the pillar of autumn. The serenity that ship rocks.
technodoug
The Klingon Bird of Prey is a mere shadow of the meanest ship ever: The Klingon D7 battle cruiser as seen in opening scene of Star Trek The Motion Picture.
DOOM2099
The Millenium Falcon is easily the coolest ship ever. And any doubters need to see ESB one... more... time.... The scenes with Solo outflying what seemed like the entire Imperial Navy stole this movie. The sense of speed is exhilirating and it still keeps me on the edge of my seat to this day when I watch it. Awesome, just awesome.
And then there is Mad Max's car, whatever it was called. Another vehicle that comes with bonus cool points for the pilot. Mad Max ruled! Thunderdome sucked, though.
kanis
rifle It wasn't that cool of a car.
steverules
Delorean from back to the future
Slave 1 star wars
Tardis doctor who
I have a model of each one.

kanis
batman The car from men in black one.
DOOM2099
Wonder Woman's invisible jet! How cool would it be to get freaky on an invisible plane?
kanis
devil2 It would be pretty cool but I'd rather just fly.
Revanall
The Pillar of Autumn and the Wraith from Halo
The Millenium Falcon and the Slave One from Star Wars
The Puddle Jumper from Stargate Atlantis
kanis
angel The ship the main character uses in battle beyond the stars.
eleveninches
death star
millennium falcon
enterprise D
enterprise E
voyager
DS9
Batmobile
Delorean
defient
tardis
puddle-juper
prometheus/daedelus
terminator tanks (from the future)
Taranis
Goin' with a Nubian. Even though it's a peace-time ship, it's pretty sleek looking.
Bardock42
The Heart of Gold is pretty sweet.
So is the Falcon.
And those cars in I, Robot...gotta get me one of those.
Koenig
The APC from Aliens, shame they never used the gun.
Black Adam
I really like dropships.
from aliens to halo
to space above and beyond to starship droppers dropships have always been my favorite.
Bicnarok
Liberator from blakes 7
super pr*xy
spooner's audi and that mobile living room looking thing in minority report. just because thay can both bring your drunken ass home without an actual driver. that being said, i can't leave out MIB's mercedes benz... it comes with its own white driver to avoid getting pulled over. awesome.
and also anderton's lexus in minority report.
Impediment
The Millenium Falcon and the Delorian time machine.
Danzilla
Starfury
While it may not be as aesthetically pleasing as any of the Enterprises, or as famous as the Mellinium Falcon, it is by far the most realistic "warship" from any Scifi show.
Zero point spin radius based on four independant thrusters, 180º by 180º view for the pilot, the list just goes on. Assuming equal weapons/armor, the ship design would allow it to easily beat any other ship its size from any other Scifi show.
The realism makes it my choice.
kanis
wolfwood The Logos and the hammer from the matrix movies hell all the hovercraft vehicles.
Robby001
I would have to say Sea Quest DSV. Don't know damn sub always seemed cool to me.
For starship I would have to go with Vader's Star Destroyer, Executor

doan_m
Vehicles? Well I would have to go with a Bolo tank.
As for ships well...... a Warhammer 40,000 Necron Tombship if you please.
Endless Mike
Skylark Duquesne
Robby001
What is a "Skylark Duquesne"?
Endless Mike
It's a ship from E. E. "Doc" Smith's classic Skylark series of scifi novels.
kanis
wolfwood I would have moya from farscape, or the eta seven fighter from revenge of the sith.
