Thought this would be a cool battle to discuss

Maul. He'll force push or pull Jango and kill him while he's down.

If Jango could hold his own against Obi then shouldn't he be able to beat Darth Maul

Maul would win. Genesis, you dont need to post, "any more opinions?" it just adds more to the thread to scroll through.

Jango would win actually.

Maul would win. Maul just had to criple the jet pack and, once he did that, jango would be owned. And Maul wouldn't have much trouble in trash the jet pack.

Maul would win. Maul is better then AOTC Obi and he could have killed Jango if he wanted too. Maul is an effective fighter and could sure as hell kill one bounty hunter.

this thread annoys me.

Jango, mauls saber form is weak against blaster wielding opponents, jango has many weapons and his jetpack.

If you think obi would have won if it wasn't for boba, please Jango is a hard core jedi killing machine, he's killed close to 30 jedi in his lifetime, and mauls fore powers other then push weren't really shown.

Here's a Jango vs. maul story, lets see how it goes.

The harsh rain pelted fetts armour the harsh winds of stormy Kamino buffeting him back bluring his vision, Fett secured his gear and entered the bland kaminoan building, his hunt had brought him here, all tyranus had told him is that he was hunting down a rogue student,but this hunt was special this time he was hunting a sith. Fett enetered a large white chamber he heard the automatic door slam shut behind him he tried to open it but it was held closed by some great power. He was trapped. The bounty hunter cursed in huttese then turned slowly. A tall figure covered in black stepped forward, the room was silent except for the sound of the siths lightsaber igniting, then all hell broke loose. jango flew up into the air and opened up with both blasters sending a volley of blaster bolts at the sith but it was too fast, it returned jango's fire sending it whizzing straight back at him like a swarm of angry hornets. Fett was pegged in the shoulder and fell to the ground. The sith was almost on top of him now slashing wildly. jango hit the floor and swept the dark lords legs out from under him with a scissor kick. The double bladed lightsaber went flying. Fett seized what he knew would be his only chance and sent a quick right hook across mauls face followed by an uppercut underneath his chin knocking maul flat. Fett went for the killing blow but was sent flying backwards by a powerful force push. Maul brought his lightsaber to him and charged his foe channeling every ounce of hate into every slash driving jango back until he was pinned against a wall. Maul slashed at jango's head, jango ducked but unfortunately for them both maul cleaved Fetts jet pack. The explosion sent maul halfway across the room. The sith went for his saber but was only rewarded with searing pain as he grabbed the burnt out handle. From the smoke and ash Fett rose and if maul could have seen past his mandalorian helmet he would've seen the look of grim determination that was etched across the bounty hunters features. the both charged and met like twin hurricanes. Maul was fast but unfortunately he'd never been in a hand to hand combat situation before. Fett sent a left across his face followed by a jab and an elbow strike between mauls ribs. but maul was far from defenseless. Drawing his strength from the force he retaliated with a rapid flurry of punches to Jango's chest plate followed by a strike across his head dazing him, Maul grabbed him by the throat and smiled with pleasure as jango struggled for air. Fetts vision started to go black, mauls iron grip starving him of air, in desperation he grabbed the siths wrist and with his last strength he twisted it back and brought his other arm arcing up at the siths elbow snapping his arm. Maul howled in pain and sent a strong left across his hated enemy's face. Fett ignored it sending a flurry of jabs into mauls ribs there was a distinctive crack and the sith lord coughed up blood. blinded with rage maul sent a blast of force lightning rippling across Jango's chest. jango hit the floor but was almost instantly on his feet as maul grabbed one of his westar blasters . Fett deftly sidestepped the blast and wrenched mauls wrist sending the blaster tumbling through the air, he caught it with his free hand and blew a hole in mauls kneecap,he then brought his right across mauls head once twice three times, the sith hit the floor. He started to get up but was knocked down by a roundhouse kick to his face. fett twirled his pistol and returned it to his hip holster he then stood over his fallen enemy and fired a saberdart point blank into his jugular.

Maul all the way. He only lost to obi wan, because of terrible, TERRIBLE, writing. he kicked two jedi asses for ten mintues then stood and watched himself be cut in half????? Did noone else notice this? And obi wan was not trying to kill jango, or he would have. THe council told him to bring jango back for questioning, so Obi wan wanted him alive, thus not deflecting his blaster shots back at him like would have normally been done.

Maul, no contest.

and by the way maul whoops up almost any non-force user unarmed

But this fight isn't unarmed.

And Maul wins, but Jango gives him a amazing fight, seeing as the Reek isn't here to damage his jetpack.

Maul wins.

maul owns this in star wars darth maul it sayes that exar kun and darth maul are the only ones who have ever wielded a double sided blade, and that you have to be very in tune with your saber staff to actually have skill

First, weilding a staff is easy, I do it all the time. Second, Maul and Exar are NOT even close to being the only people to ever use a double staff.

yeah but if it was a real lightsaber it would be harder cause you dont live if you axxedentally jabb yourself (by the way i have one too and i am also quite good)

But they have the force to guide them. Look at the people who used double-blades in KOTOR. THey were common Jedi. Being a staff user doesn't make you special.

It does make you special, because saberstaff-wielding is time and again stated to be one of the most dangerous forms of combat, both to the opponent and the user. But that doesn't mean it guarantees victory. Don't try to discredit Maul, or make it seem like a breeze to use such a weapon. You swing a stick around. Woot. Try that with a weightless beam of plasma that can melt through Space Age blast doors, and see how many limbs you have left.

I'm not saying that use of a saberstaff = total pwnage. But only those of noticeable talent and skill can successfully wield one.

I hand this to Maul, but after a decent fight. Fett's not one to go quietly.

Thats a video game not the real star wars and KOTOR 2 wasnt near as good as kotor one when is KOTOR3 due in

Maul'd beat Jango, no doubt about it. He beat Qui-Gon and Anoon Bondara. Jango had a draw with AOTC Obi-Wan.



Maul charges out into the Kamino rain at Jango, both ends of his saber ignited. Jango shoots at Maul and goes into the air (like he did with Kenobi). Maul twirles his saber around fiercly and blocks the lasers. Jango shoots his rocket. Maul dodges it. Maul jumps in the air, swinging at Jango. Jango goes up higher, barely escaping Maul. he keeps shooting. Maul uses the Force to choke Jango (as he did to Neimodians in Shadow Hunter). Jango dies.

End of story.

It's not only in KOTOR, so think a little before posting next time.

jango becouse hes blasters can melt other weapons and mauls saber is a cinda big so jango would just have to shoot it and it would melt and then he would burn up maul or blast him

Jango needed a whole bunch of tricks just to hold off Obi-Wan and only managed to escape because Kenobi was a little careless ("Oh not good". Maul is just as fast as Obi-Wan and being a Sith he is ruthless, and doesn't have to show control when it comes to using the Force, after an initial assault from Jango which Maul avoids easily, he cuts down Fett Snr. Now if Jango started the fight in Slave I circling the area Maul was in it might be different.
