I didnt know where to ask this question so........how come on Marvel Universe, he weighs 18.2 tons. If he weighs that much, cant the Thor beat the crap out of him since Thor can lift 100 tons?

or anybody else who can lift more than 18.2 tons

Galactus weighs 18 tons? *snicker*

and because someone can lift 18.2 tons doesnt mean they can beat someone with that weight.

rhino for example could never beat galactus, nor could the thing, or silver surfer even if galactus couldnt strip his powers.

I dont see what the problem is with him weighing that amount. All the super strength heroes of marvel who are class 100 dont tend to peak at around a ton in terms of their weight so whats the problem? If Thor weighing i dunno (random figure) 600lbs didnt wanna be moved my colossus who weighs 700lbs then he would not be budged despite colossus being able to press far in excess of thors weight. Therefore i ask again whats the problem?

"An average man his age who works out regularly"

And then its revealed that Wolverine is well over 100. . how many 150 year olds do you know that can lift 800 lbs?

I'm using a common denominator of physics.

Galactus weighs only ~36,000 lbs? and ~150,000 lbs of force can't phase him?

If for instance the Hulk or Juggernaut weigh somwhere close to 800-900 lbs and are able to press somwhere at least in the 100 ton class...We can only imagine what somone weighing 18+ tons can lift (in addition to the power cosmic)...Just because you are able to "lift" 100 tons doesnt mean you can punch with the force of a 100 tons (or am i mistaken )

Going by that logic I guess the hulk would beat marvel Universe.


And Thor would beat Hulk, because he can lift Hulk

Or Spiderman can beat hulk since he can lift hulk as well.


You will have all these people beating each other since they can all lift the other heroes

when it comes to fighting a guy like that its not about how much you can lift its how much power he weilds, cuz surfer isnt class 100 in his unaugmented state he's just an enhanced guy on a surf board but if anybody steps near him he blasts them to smitherines and thats all there is to it regardless of how much they can lift
