I love when it's really sunny and hot, I tan and chill-ax on lounges by my friend's pool or in my yard

Yeah well Miss I live in Canada, I'm from the City of London.

We don't have pools .

At least not where I am.

I don't mind being hot if I have a pool accessible or shade near to me. Today I was walking around for a good few hours under the blazing sun.

Oh I did the whole shades thing, I am cool to that level.

I, unfortunately, do not have one of those Batgirl/Irene utility belts that holds everything I'll ever need. So I didn't have the ability to pull out some tan lotion .

Your skills never fail to impress, what else can you do? (Lotion optional).

I don't care for much for the heat, it is the humidity that makes it worse. when humidity is over 60% then it will feel like ten degrees warmer.

The heat...sucks so much balls. This is the part I hate about living in Cali, the got damn summer. It's...so gross. Today for example.....105 degrees!! BAHS!!! sweatdrop

As well as extremistalerts for the whole country. Anyhow aside form that badly placed pun, I fele the heat myself because I work in an outside garden center at that place that says "you can do it, we can help" (let's humor them becaus ethis is their biggest delusion.) And last week there was one day where it was almost 100 outside, and even though I was inside, the humidity nearly killed me. Good thing I got in at 6 that morning and did allthe outside work first.

People who work outside here have been sent home a few times, and so you know, I'm not in th states

Well it's cool because they let us hose our heads and faces down, and we have a huge cooler of ice cold spring water. So at least Home Depot has HALF a heart.

well here in havasu, there is not "wet" heat.......a "dry" heat they call it

Like stepping into an oven when you step outside, cooking on the pavement

I doubt global warming has had such an impact THIS soon.

It's just a really really hot summer.

well it is always hot here in the summertime...

but i am not used to this kinda heat...having 120 degree plus temps everyday

well right now I'm not complaining cause being down here in Australia we are having a VERY cold winter at the moment. it a cool 15 degrees everyday which changed into Fahrenheit is about 60 god its freezing. but if i was you i would not complain I'm from western australia we have 2 yes 2 desert in the one state the great sandy and the Gibson of which i live in the great sandy near one arm point and during the summer we every year get temps of 50-60 which converted is bout 120-140 and thats for most of summer. trust me its a great place to tan.

here in havasu, or in the desert of the southwest including my state (Arizona) are always either hot or mild...including during the wintertime where it can be in the 60s or hotter

but finally here in havasu it is going to cool off ...during the next week there is a chance of rain ...yeah!
