Fight to the death!! The GL rings do not need to recharge, the other team have 3 days of prep! They can create any devices or set up any kind of shield they want!

Ok, maybe I misjudged the GL's, they are powerful, but THREE DAYS PREP?

Th fight first starts in space with 3600 GLs warping in from behind the sun. magneto, iron man in a space armor, thor with gauntlets of strength and uru armor, sentry, quasar, wonderman, binary, captain marvel, wonderwoman, jonn, and gladiator. they start hurling asteroids from the de kuyper belt at the oncoming lanterns. during this time gladiator, supes and surfer (who have been waiting inside the sun (with a spell from doc strange to hide their power levels) darts out out and smashes into the side of the oncoming green lanterns with enough power to destroy the moon. their advantage is quickly lost due to the sheer numbers of GLs. but their job is done they have managed to halt close to 200 of them. they manage to drag 20 more into the sun when they retreat.

the other gls who are now momentarily distracted from the savage assault wonderwoman and jonn open a boom on either side of the lanterns teleporting the rage of the fiery pits of apocalips onto the corps. the heros charge the GLs in a blitzkrieg attack.

theyve lost half of their number before the heroes retreat to earth space. they managed to do some serious damage. when they get back to earth they realize theyve been tricked. that was an advance force. 1000 green lanterns warped in from behind saturn where they had been hiding and masking themselves for days. bruised and beaten they fly to help their compadres before the first advance team reaches earth. they have mere minutes to spare.

earth is a wreck. fighting is going on on and above every continent. the main fighters are invisible woman (torch has been eliminated by the GLs cutting off his air supply before he could go nova), an night crawler and juggernaut combo, emma frost and prof X, scarlet witch, doc strange, hulk, doc fate and ghost rider.

the fighting goes badly as the corps spawn doubles of themselves to distract the heros and add fire power. the armies of all the nations are overpowered. hulk begins to rampage and becomes uncontrollable. he manages to kill dozens of GLs before hes tossed into vaccuumless space.

when it looks like the heroes have lost. gladiator, supes, and surfer fly back in completely reenergized and attack both squads of GLs. with 400 GLs left they decide to rip the earth apart. so few human heros remain. in the end, superman, surfer, gladiator, sentry, jonn, thor, binary, and doc strange. enter battle for the last time. they are all injured and dying. strange even locates hulk who is still suffocating in orbit and uses him as an angry battering ram. in the end the GLs prove too strong for the heroes. and just when they are about to deliver the final crushing blow their green shields disappear and thy suffocate. "what happened?" asked binary.

doc fate, thing, franklin, flash, batman, cable, zatanna, bishop, and beast went to OA via boom tube and using franklin and zatanna managed to smash the central power battery rendering the GLs powers useless. franlyn and zatanna died in teh attempt, but the earth was saved.

Not all GLs are built up to the same standard that Hal Kyle or such are.The majoruty of them are good but not TOO good and would/3600 of themcould put up a fight but considering the levels of strength arrayed against them they probably wont win

The teams could probably use some alteration too.Some guys like Nightcrawler Spidey Psylocke and such would be entierly useless and i dont see the fight leaving space and taking place on earth at all

The Corps win this. 7200 people dogpilling them with the most powerful weapon in the universe will take it's toll. A few Corps members such as Torquemada are rather good at sorcery themselves so thats not exactly an advantage. Not only that but the Corps have a major advantage against other teams in that their power can be pooled together (see: GLC Recharge #5).

If all else fails, all it takes is one person stepping into the Central Battery to create a Parallax/Ion. Hal stepped into the CPB and started smashing Krona. The same Krona who 3 shotted Galactus.

Wait didn't Superboy Prime run through tons of Green Lanterns? Whats stopping Sentry, Superman, Binary, Wonder Woman, Gladiator, Silver Surfer, Quasar, Ironman and all the other heavy hitters from doing the same? And with prep- Ironman creates an armor that negates the rings effects, Reed creates a GL nulifier and Batman creates some crazy ass battlesuit that gives him 100+ class strength, flight and concusive blasts. GL's die a miserable death unless Kyle, Jordan and Alan help.

A single, non jobbing Green Lantern could atomize any Kryptonian. If we're going to be bringing PIS evidence in this, the Avengers can't even handle Hulk much less a Green Lantern.

not all the Gl's are in Kyle's, and Hal's league. Reed, Batman, Ironman, Dr Strange, and Fate can cook a plan up within the time parameters. Batman is very knowlegable when it comes to the GL's also. The team has a chance.
Shoot, Superman and Sentry(dont know if he can,maybe) could chill in the middle of the sun for three days, the Gl's would have there hand full with them alone.

Even rookie Lanterns have opened and sealed black holes and changed matter to anti-matter. They don't have to be Hal Jordan and Kyle Rayner to do stuff like that.
