But then think of the things you could gain. Theres so much to telepathy you could help people all around the world. Help the dying by negating pain, solve crimes and so on. Transcend the physical. Xaviers telepathy was only limited to earth because of Magnetos manipulations of th electromagnetic spectrum. Who knows i mmight be able to make first contact with an alien species lol. Im getting a bit ahead of myself here lol.

It doesnt necessarily make things boring. Just like telepaths do in comics you erect shields in your mind to prevent peoples thoughts from automatically crashing into your mind.

I guess its just each to their own really, because the novelty of running around faster than cars all day would soon wear off for me.

oh yeah it would......but I try to keep the creepy at a minimal level...not to be outright evil....lol...what can I say you spend half your life reading comic books and gettin all those morals and codes shoved down your throat eventually you start believing in them...well I did at least...

I know this is a really Geeky answer but i read this book recently about higher physics and apparently if you had a power over Hyper space you be pretty much opnipotent. So if i had a choince i would have Extra dimensional powers. ?But it isn't on the list so ummm

i liked her but her attitude on buffy 24/7 just got on my nerves I found eliza duxhku much more attractive...and charisma carpenter (cordelia) even more so (in angel at least)

yes but only fo a moment...the same thing happened in my example...at first he was a little bit stunned..then after focusing on moving forward he did it.....same thing applies here...friction isn't magic....juggs will adapt.....then overcome...

The original is Mr Spheres adventure yes squares and circles are in it. Do you mean Hyperspace? I think that was Kacku's wasn't it?

Juggernaut has several powers... Invulnerability, super strength, and the whole "walk in a straight line forever" thing.

All of Superman's powers came from him being kryptonian... So I want a kryptonian body and an endless supply of solar energy.

And yes, mind control would be useful, but everything gets boring eventually. Plus telling (insert random supermodel/actress here) to like you wouldn't be as much fun, now would it? It's like the invincibility cheat

Yeh, have you read it. He's wrote a few like this. I also saw this documentary on Discovery and it was how the vibration of higher dimensions may be responsible for phenomenon like telepathy, E.g. remote viewing, and psycokensis, and telekinesis. It also showed how if we where able to move into higher dimensions we could go any where in the universe and become invisible. On a grander scale the vibration of higer dimensions maybe what creates the fundemental forces of the univerese. I got the impression that with sufficeint tech you could give yourself a DIY version of the power cosmic.

No sorry to say im not. I wish i had the interlectual capacity to be one but i kinda fall short of the mark. Great book though, it was a bit borring in the middle when he did a short summary of physics From Newton to relativity, from Bohr to Heisenberg. But the string theory and Futuristic stuff was great. Its verry philosophical stuff on some levels. Im suprised comics havn't latched on to it more. That impy thing and fith dimensional magic from D.C. is the only thing i can think of.

they wouldn't just produce orgasm after orgasm..eventually they would pass out from exaustion but their body would stop producing the orgasmic effect long before that...

Nope jin you could stimulate the brain so that it is locked in orgasm perpetually all it is a response to nervous stimulation, if you prevented the esterase that breaks down the neuro transmitters being secreted or caused the nerves to keep producing transmitter, which a telepath with control of the nervous system could you could cause them to keep having them indefinitely.

Nerve gases do both these things chemically so the response is there escept they either stop all neurotransmitters or block all esterases.

Superstrength. Damn, I wish I had it everytime some jerkwad took up two parking spaces.

Superstrength also implies a certain amount of physical toughness to use that strength; implies a certian amount of superspeed (just by nature of being so strong); I may not be able to fly but I could leap tall buildings in a single bound...in short, superstrength may be the most versatile of all the powers.

Now, if we could add telekinesis to the list...

i really want dr doom`s power to h ave endestrucleble metal on my body and being pretically invincelbe and channeling lightine threw my fingures that would be fun i would probly go and kill all the assholes at my school who have ruind my life

Imagine...if you had this power in the real world, your perception, reaction and thinking would speed up just like your movement, otherwise it would be like driving a car at mach 3 within a city...quite a short and deadly race. BUT if your perception, reaction and thinking speeds up like that, it would feel to you as if you wouldn't get any faster at all but everything around you gets slower! So running from one end of a city to the other would take as much "time" as usual in your feeling...WOULDN'T THAT BE IMMENSLY BORING AND TIRESOME???!!!

Oh...and my favourite power is an elaborate form of empathy.

Actually, though it's not listed, I wouldn't mind having this ability. I call it the Golden Rule power. Whatever harm (in any way, shape or form) you attempt to bring upon someone else, it happens to you instead.

I try to punch you in the nose, my nose breaks and bleeds.
I try to shot you, the bullet curves and hits me.
I try to embezzle a company, my bank account dissolves.
I try to flame someone on the web, my name is substituted instead.
I try to be a suicide bomber, it's my family/people that get blown up.
...and so on...

I'd like to be a symbiote or a werecreature. Either that or have access to Phoenix force, demon fox, etc.
Practically speaking I'd like to be a teleporter (avoid morning commute) or a telekinetic (don't have to get up while watching TV).

If I had to fight/be a superhero or something, I'd grab the strength.

Normal everyday life however, telepathy most likely. Unless the telepathy is limited to just like...knowing the card someone is holding up. Then I'd take teleportation or flight.

I think people would freak if you were flying and the government would hunt you down though.

well im the kinda guy who is obsessed with my own mortality...im scared of death and i dont ever want to face it so without even thinking i would choose quick healing cuz with it, if i dont put my life at risk and just chill...i could easily outlive the entire human race.


im sure not all these powers were thought up with marvel in mind but, in MU it is established that ppl with certain powers(namely energy weilders) put a subconscious limit on themselves...for fear of burning out, but others like giant man, and wasp as one so they respectively dont grow too tall, or too short(for according to marvel the human body will fall apart after 60 ft, or below a few inches),

anyhoo the point of my little essay is this, its the same thing with colossus, (and mimic from exiles)....he can stay longer than a few weeks if he wanted to but just scared so if the healing factor wasnt on the table i would take turning to steel providing that the mental restraint was removed......maybe i'd ask wanna yuo telepath's to help me out with that....the same way psylock did for the xmen in the savage land. i would transform and never have to eat, breathe or sleep ever again...or age for that matter, maybe i'd revert every now and then to lean in some thai hooker, or idk my girlfriend or wife or something...
