Lynesse, you already posted your request in the right thread, why did you start another one? It won't find the answer earlier than the other one anyway
There are four possibilities of finding an "elvish" name, depending on what you want -
a) you can choose a name you particularly like from the books and simply use it for yourself
b) you can ask one of the elvish name generators that will give you a random elvish-sounding name (or one from the books, depending on which generator you use)... it will sound nice and all, but have nothing to do with yourself.
Some name generators:

c) you can take your real name and "elvishize" them to fit in the Sindarin or Quenya phonetic systems
d) you can do it the complicated way... and translate your real name (or... its meaning) to one of the elvish languages. First you have to find out what your real name means (ask an etymological name dictionary), then you can look up the necessary words in an elvish dictionary or ask someone... and finally put the elements together to a name-shaped word again
You can also just post your name in the forum and wait for somebody else to translate it for you
