Darth Sidious--- Anakin's "father"?

A person that I work with, who is also in the 501st brought this up, Sidious' Master, Darth Palegous, could create life through the force... but did he pass the knowledge on to him?

I do believe that he did, or at least partially. What I do not agree is that Sidious was Anakin's "father". I believe it more to be Plagueis or some random manifestation of the midichlorians.
