It would appeal Sherlock Holmes died by falling over a cliff when he was fighting Professor Moriarty. Both fall to there deaths. But than Holmes does not die as he shows up in later books. Can some one explain this to me???

Did they both die? Or did Holmes some how lived?

Holmes survives, Moriarty dies. I could summarize what happend, but why not read the story where Holmes explains for himself? It's online here
