First if you've seen this post elsewhere, I apologize...this is my first attempt to get music my band has written/recorded to the right people involved in the remake of The Last Unicorn.

Does anyone how to go about submitting music for use in a movie? Any info is much appreciated.

you could try contacting geoff murphy or his associates through the web site

The best thing you can do is: do some research, find out who the person is in charge of the music for the project, then contact them, by phone if you can, or by letter. Ask permission to send them a promo package (be nice and sound as intelligent as you can). Put together a good recording of the music, bio, cover letter and send it to the person they tell you to. Write on the envelope "Requested material". Take care to put together a clean professional promo package. If anything look amateur they will though it away.

Thank you all very much for you input on this. I feel kinda silly now as I sent the website admin contact a link to one of the songs - another website had him listed as a producer or director of the film (I forgot which). I have a lot to learn.

Thanks,
Mike
