I actually had a phobia of elevators and being in them from like 4th to 6th grade... I had a dream that I was being chased by terrorists, so I went into this elevator to escape. Then as it was going very high up, it stopped working and I died in it, because it fell and hit the ground/exploded.

Yes, elevator rides that last 15-20 minutes at a time. Forgive me if I've never seen a building so tall as to accomidate such a long elevator ride or even an elevator that obviously moves that slow.

Sure you can come back and say that the elevator broke down, but how many times do you think that happens in the real world? Not much. For the most part you'd get stuck in there with another guy or an old couple or someone with a stroller. The chances of a random encounter or you and a loved one stuck together are pretty much nil.

I guess you can't argue with statistics. 😬
