Ok I need to lose around 30 lbs and I don't want to go to the gym to do it. What can I do to lose the weight? And if you know of any great home-exercise systems let me know because it would be so much easier for me to exercise at home! How much more does muscle weigh than fat?Thanks!

Ok, so I was doin pretty good on a diet and all. I weighed like 110 lbs and then I went off of my diet for awhile and now I'm at 130 lbs! I feel so fat and guilty! I hate this! You know what else I hate? My friends are all like skinny skinny. Like you know they are tiny, petite little things and they can eat 3 bowls of ice cream and tons of junk food and not be on a diet or exercise at all but they never gain a pound! But as for me I have to avoid sweets and exercise like crazy and I still don't get the results I want! It's just so unfair! I mean, I wonder what it would be like to be able to wear any style of clothing that u want and never worry about gettin fat or saying "Ooh I better not eat this I don't want to gain weight" I'm so depressed and angry right now! Maybe I should just give up and face it that I'm going to be fat for the rest of my life! WHAT NOW?!!

What works for one person may not work for another. Your best bet would be to talk to your physician and see what he/she recommends for you to do.

Apparently, they work wonders. I'm actually thinking of getting me one of those.

The main part is, that you don't just exercise one part of your body, like only doing sit-ups or likewise....
Find exercises for many different muscle groups, but I'd recommend a professional view of things too.

Why don't you start a sport like Tennis or something. That might help, too.

Heh...Im 114 lbs. During school I was around 123-124, over the summer all Ive done is sit at the computer chair and I went down to 114 lbs. yes

My uncle lost 80 pounds in less than 2 months by eating no bread, no pork, only chicken meat, salads, etc. Of course, he then gained like 100 poundsin the next few months no .........talk to a nutritionist thumb up

loads of people try to peddle loads of useless information and tricks and tips to dieting and none of them work except counting the calories

an average sized female will use 2000 calories a day without exercise

if you take in 500 calories per day less than you use up then you will lose about 1 lbs per week

1000 calories less per day will be 2 lbs per week

running will burn up about 200 calories in 15 minutes....

if you can limit your intake to 1500 calories and burn up 500 calories a day running then you will hit your target in 15 weeks

also try to limit your fat intake to between 10 and 15 grams per day

good luck

Free running.Never done any sport ever(that helps lower your weight.),but it keeps me flex and stuf.

PS-Free Running is not running around the block,it is running around the block with obstacles.

I'm 120 right now. That's a very healthy weight for me.

130 is very healthy for you too. My advice to you is to work out. Don't worry so much as what not to eat. Cut out sweets and work out 30-45 minutes everyday and you'll tone up and look great

If you have stairs.. just step up and down on the bottom step pumping 2 cans of beans (or something in a can) in your arms... big grin

I guess you should eat less or no sweets, cut the fatty foods, and try not to starve yourself. That doesn't help at all. You should try to eat small amounts of food (salad, yogurt, whatever) more often (or so i heard), but don't starve yourself for the whole day then eat the whole fridge for dinner. And as some of you said, you could try running for half an hour or so daily.

CURIOUS22 and Cherrypop- Yeah well for people that are already skinny it is. But for us girls who are over wieght we HAVE to diet.

I work out 1 hour a day 5-6 days a week.

and i'm not seeing any results.

Um...As wierd as it sounds people with all the eating disorders have some mental disease where they think they're fat when they are actually UNDERWEIGHT. It's quite annoying really. Limit your carb intake

I've just had 5 days off work; I spent most of the time asleep and ate only one meal in 36 hours. - I ;ost 3 kg. and now i feel like shit cause my tummy is grumbling too much.

In order to lose weight healthy you need to lower your calories and carb intake. Instead of 3 big meals, eat 4 or 5 small meals. Take a vitamin EVERYDAY. Drink water EVERYDAY, and not just a glass, Buy a water bottler (best if it's a liter) and just keep filling it up over and over again.

And exercise EVERYDAY

I used to be overweight due to circumstances, and I was eating like a horse...but I stopped eating what was making me fat, and lost about 100 pounds in a month

That's EXTREMELY unhealthy.

the best way to lose weight is to cut down on the calories and excercise. weight lifting and aerobics are good. instead of eating five big macs, eat two instead and instead of eating a jug of icecream eat two bowl instead. eating less food than what your body is used to works. after awhile your stomach will start to growl and then it will shrink, causing you to eat less.

Actually that's very wrong.

If you eat 5 big macs (HOLY CRAP), cut it down to one a week or none at all. Fastfood is VERY bad for you.

Icecream is another thing you should RARELY eat. Eat what it says a serving is and NO MORE.

you also should try to get a little more sleep that helps alot.. i mean a month ago i weigheed 137.. well now i weigh 130.. and i have aten like a pig.. but i slept way more than i did while i was in school.. it helps lots..

I usually get enough sleep. I take naps before work at 5:00 pm and so I stay up late. I never slept in school, while class is still going. when our lesson was over and we had nothing else to do then they would let us sleep the rest of the period.

Well the name of it is pretty easy to figure out ,but you press start and you can go to TRAINING MODE,WORKOUT MODE ,ENDLESS MODE,MISSION MODE,OR GAME MODE,



TRAINING MODE- This Allows you to train with the different types of music and modes.

WORKOUT MODE- This Allows you to dance with the music of your chose and the level and at the end of each song it will tell you how much calories you have lost.

ENDLESS MODE- This Allows to play all the songs of the DDR game {not the whole series} but just for that game you can set when you want to have a break and you keep playing as long as you want.

MISSION MODE- This Allows you to test your DDR skills for example you might get a stage where the music might speed up real fast then it might slow down , or the arrows might disappear before they reach the arrow outlines.

GAME MODE- This Allows you to chose want ever song you want to play and want ever level you play at

I'm sorry, no offense, but that's retarded. You obviously don't read too much into health.

Sleeping does NOT help you lose weight. Haven't you ever been told not to eat after 7? That's because when you sleep your metabolism slows down and your body doesn't burn as many calories and it then turns to fat.

You can eat like a pig and still lose weight because
A. You're skinny

B. You're probably still very younger (13-15)

C. You might still be growing

D. You're metabolism is probably very high.
