The Signs of the Terminator future (civilian)

1. The internet is infected by a super computer virus(SKY-NET)

2. Cellphone networks go offline or are on the fritz.

3. There is a busy signal on the phones or a sound that sounds like a fax machine trying to connect.

4. INTERACT and bank machines don't work

5. Satellite T.V. signals are scrambled beyond recognition.

6. T.V. stations start to go off the air.


The Signs of the Terminator future (military)

1. Military satellite signals are scrambled beyond recognition.

2. Military computer applications are infected by a super computer virus(SKY-NET)

3. Military loses contact with its Ballistic Missile Submarines.

4. Military loses contact with its Titan and Minuteman missile silos.

5. Military communications networks are scrambled beyond recognition.

When is this not the case? Seriously when Kate's cellphone in T3 said "network failure" I wasn't thinking "ohnoes rise of teh machines," I was thinking "yeah I've seen that at some pretty inoppurtune times."

I think he means this is what would happen in real life.

But yes you are right, cellphones are ridiculously unreliable.

Yes, that is what I mean.

Just like Sarah and John Connor I have vivid dreams about humans fighting Ground and aerial H.Ks and Endoskeletons. I also have vivid dreams about people liveing in underground parking lots and only comeing out at night.

That sign regarding cellphone networks going offline, has happened quite a few times with my cellphone in New Zealand. Sometimes for no reason i get no signal whatsoever, but after an hour or 2 it comes back lol.

Do you get that, vrulz? (bloody Vodafone...)

lol, in lecture theatres maybe, but thats it.

My phone never has any idea what location its in, its always off by miles. And the reception for making calls is never any good.
