Whats the purpose of this big yellow thing on the chest on Cyclops costume. It doesnt seem like its just decoration, but I never recall him actually doing anything with it. Is it to hold up his yellow panties or something? Is it like a utility suspender or something? Or it just for decoration? Anyone know what its for?

What a large comm device though. Its like as big as a fist or something. why not just build somehting into his visor, oh well. I guess he thought it would look cool on his chest.
