Actully not, his last name ha never been mentioned, only in movies they made last name for him, but who cares about movie, who made a joke out of characters.

Ryu practices constantly, avoiding the street fighter winners ceremonies to find another tougher fighter. . .

So as you can gather Jin doesn't have the skill required to fight Ryu. . .
