She plays the friend that blackmails the hero.
The reason of her presence here is that Milla's and her characters come from Poland. So does Daniel. He left Poland as a child and became a writer, etc.
She doesn't play a memorable part in the movie. She's ok in it, nothing more, but I couldn't tell, since her role consist more in appearing than in acting.
According to imdb, since Quo Vadis she only played in foreign movies (Fanfan la tulipe in France, that film and an American one). So it seems you won't see her in Poland for a while
