If it's for a marriage thing...wedding...I know you can't walk down the center walk way of the church if not a Catholic...you will have to walk down the side walkway. ...My brother had to convert and attend the classes to be able to walk his new wife down the center..cause she was Catholic and wanted that kind of special wedding....Is that why you ask?
You should choose a less contradictory religion you know... if its a spiritual need... not a wedding need, then you don´t even have to be bothered about religion, you just need to think independently about spirituality... you could start reading books about spirituality, just acquiring information and judging it for yourself. The best religion is the truth, and to know the truth you need to think for youself, not blind faith.

never understood the converting from one christian denomination to another christian denomination
I believe its basically the same with Science Fiction you might convert from Star Trek to Star Wars otr the other way around when you are older........only way I can explain this kind of behaviour....

Maybe you are brought up one religion, but whenyou get older, you realize you don't like it as much as you used to or that you just don't agree with it now that you understand it
Yep, but most christian denominations have the same beliefs and the same commandments, not a big change.
Hmmm. I recently had a relative who converted, from Church of England/Protestant to Catholic. Pretty much no difference except in name. They are both indoctrinated, institutionalised, majority Christian Religions. The Bible is still the Bible. God still God. Really the difference seem terribly cosmetic. Catholics though have a lot more symbolism and relation to the Saints though, and the Virgin Mary is a more dominant figure, and you get the Pope. But to my eyes, beyond all the showy stuff, they are pretty much the same (there is the stance on divorce and remarriage being bad, but eh)
