I think it would be cool if like Zorro, James Bond and perhaps the X-Men and Spider-Man movies the continuity of Batman Begins would be used indefinitely into the future. The villains Ra's Al Ghul and the Scarecrow were defeated in such a way that they could return in the future, and I think the respect with which this movie treated the comics makes it worthy of basing on it every live action Batman movie from now on. I'd much rather that then after Nolan and Bale leaving, the series being completely forgotten about to make another Burton or Schumacher(sp) style nightmare.

Burton is cool in my book for Bats movie, ok movie 2 was a bit over board.

But Schumacer should be shot and hang on site for Batman forever and BR.

Eventually they will screw up. Nolan isn't gonna do Batman only for the rest of his life, and none of the cast will. 3 films most likely for the cast and director and that's it. Then it will be covered by someone new, and you'll get something like your Schu. or your Mostow abomination.

I sincerely hope so!

I wish Bond would get a revamp in the way Batman did his films became parody almost 30 years a go.

Batman has had such an unusual history both in comics and in other media, his moved with the times Camp in the 60's, battling ?Nazi's in the 40's, Space Aliens in the 50's off the back of the Sci Fi/ Flying Saucer boom. A lot of people talk about the "grim and gritty" Miller Batman, as the definitive the archetype, but Batman begins in my opinion made an excellent choice in the approach they took to the character. In most respects Batman was more the one I remember from my youth the Denny O'neil, Neal Adams collaboration under the watchful eyes of Denny O'Neil that finally laid rest to the Camp shenanigans of Adam West and Bruce Ward. For many the truest Batman of all. He was the real Darknightsmile

Although Miller and Lees Batman and Robin looks pretty cool so farsmile

I was hoping Tarantino would do a remake of Casino Royale. sad

BATMAN comics should go on forever. It is lame to have the BATMAN movies do that. Especially since it feels like there's some kind of mission Bruce Wayne must complete as BATMAN in BATMAN BEGINS. Personally, I'm sick and ****ed of BATMAN always having too much begining and no ending.

Eventually this will go "forever"...if you know what i mean.....

ok i realize that some people don't catch subtle things like that, so what i meant was that someone will make a movie that sucks, like Batman Forever, and that'll be the end of it.......sorry to those of you who got it.

I'm crossing my fingers that this is a trilogy, NO FATE. I wonder how TIM BURTON would have done it if he made made a third BATMAN to end the triology. NO ROBIN. Bird boy laid and egg. He had his chance.

NoFate007
If Burton would've done another one, then it would've been great. And then the next one after that would've sucked lol

my hopes is they do 3 batman solo movies (maybe introduce dick..have his folks get killed, Bruce take him in and train him but no Robin)

then they do three Batman and Robin movies...just make them opposite of how the Batman and Robin movie came out. all they have do is make sure their movie isn't like that crap feast and they'll be good to go wickedph

yo

kanis
starwars I could see that happening, they did rush in with the whole robin thing do you think robin should be in his twenties or a younger robin like the dark victory comic.

I loved dark victory....I strongly believe Robin (Dick Grayson) should be around 10 to 12...mabye get an actor who's 14 to 15 to protray him. I think the whole "grown man Robin thing" worked against him in Batman forever and B and R.

starwars Let's hope he will be a younger robin and change the way his family died back to the original way. It wasn't Chris O Donnell's fault.
