Superman regains his powers after being exposed to red kryptonian rays. I am completely unclear as to how he does this. I've only seen the movie once on non-cable TV, which is shit because those channels are often so commercialised that they actually cut scenes out to make more room for ads. I don't know if that's what happened here, if I missed something, or this just doesn't make any sense. Could someone clarify this for me?

The movies are a bit different from the comics...

after seeing what is happening at the white house, he goes back to the norht pole, he thinks there's no way to get his powers backbut then, he sees a green glowing stone, which he uses to rebuild the fortress, so there's a chamber where he gets don't know if its red-sun or yellow-sun rays. that's how.

The old Superman movies was good in the day but that is were they should stay and they should start all over becouse of things like that, that didn't make sense.

starwars I agree they should be remade because they have to many faults in superman 2, general zod thing in the worlds at war series he his a giant with unbreakable armor who destroys most of the justice league and kills clarks parents and lois's father.

starwars And the red kryptonite was stupid everbody knows that red kryptonite doesn't turn superman evil it drains his strength and the only good movie was the second one and the last supes film was pathetic. I hope in the new superman that lex luthor is played by a better actor than hackman.

hackman was a great actor... i thought he was a very good luthor... it was more the script in three and four... and the plot imo...

he was good....very Campy..."kill me...Lex Luthor..the greatest mind of this or any time?" I loved when he said that in part 2

agreed...but back in the day Gene was a good lex.
and Smallive Lex is pretty cool he hasn't "entered the darkside stage" but he's a very interesting character. go lex go lex dancingeek3

starwars I can see him playing Lex in the superman movie but I don't know, what about the plot for the new movie have you heard anything else about it.

and i too think Geene is still a great actor, it's the way they presented Lex, nothing compared to the one from Smallville(which i love), but it's not about the actors, as i've been saying.

My pc was being serviced... i was out for like 3 weeks... ive been back like a week...

well gene's lex imo was closer to the comics... very little of smallville follows the source material...

Kevin Spacey is playing Lex this time. He's cool.

starwars Why not, some things have to be different because not all comic book formats are easy to copy onto the big screen yeah the spiderman organic webshooters was a bad idea. But some movies like constantine, hellboy the batman begins movie work well.

uh...thats not exactly how it happened. he has had the green stone since supes 1 and used it to build the fortress of solitude originally. supes parents gave it to him before he left krypton. the stone had enough power to grant supes 3 wishes, after that its power would be drained forever. supes used it in supes 1 to build the fortress of solitude, in supes 2 to regain his powers after the going inside the molocule chamber, and supes 4 after being severely injured in a fight with nuclear man. the chamber is what took his powers, not red sun rays from krypton.
