Alone and out casted
I sit here pondering
How would be friend
Could turn their backs
Has everyone lied to me
Am I the pawn
In this game of deceit
Silhouettes cast shadows
Across my cowered state
As the relentless laughter
Reaches deafening levels
I clasp my ears,
Close my eyes, shutter
And scream in anger
Soon the thunderous echoes
Become faint whispers
I open my eyes only to realize
I have been consumed by darkness
The air is cold and dry
I feel my lungs gasping
As salty crystals remind me
Of how alone I really am
Have a pushed away all those
that once saw my pain
I hear their whispers
Still no one yet heres my screams
I feel the presence
of others like me
So similar
like reflections in a mirror
We are beautiful contradictions
That the world gave up on
Funny that there are many of us
But Even more walls
to keep us separated
I do wish I had found hope
But I am a man of too many flaws
So alone and out casted
I will sit and ponder
The desires of a boy
Whose words were his voice
Words that only found an audience
In his demise
I sit here pondering
How would be friend
Could turn their backs
Has everyone lied to me
Am I the pawn
In this game of deceit
Silhouettes cast shadows
Across my cowered state
As the relentless laughter
