This fights arleady happened a few times. Wonderman showed an edge against Thing with a writer that made him so weak he could barely lift 5 tons (weaker than spiderman?). However when written by Byrne he wrecked Wonderman...The Narration said that the Thing was one of the few people on Earth that could stop Wonderman. Thing also stated himself that he's way tougher. Thing also showed to be a better against the Champion.
Wonder Man got disqualified by wrecking the ring. Champ disqualified him just as his strength started grow. Real tough Champ.
Yeah, Ben hung in there, and proved he could take a beating and also proved he had heart.
Byrne was an idiot for writing Wonder Man that way. Written right Wonder Man would crush Thing to dust. Yeah they'd trade a few blows until Wonder Man starts to focus or get mad. Wonder Man is faster, stronger, and he can also fly. Crushing Thing's rock head shouldn't be as hard as crushing Adamantium. Both the Hulk and Thor have accomplished similar feats. Something Thing could only dream of.
Wonder Man takes it 9 times out of 10.
Thing takes it 1 time out of 10 if Byrne is writing the story.
