My boyfriend, wanted to have sex with me, so I told him to use a Condom, and well he said it's a sin, because who ever uses a Condom, is breaking the true purpose of sex, witch is to have children. By using a Condom he said it means you just using it for fun and have no ittention of having children. I said...ok, but I dont want kids right now, and he replied, then you will have to wait for sex....ok I said once again. So I suggested Oral Sex..then he said, that is also a sin, because the "Penis" is not suppose to go in ones mouth or go in anal, because again it stops the real purpose of sex, and only is meant for the Virgina, to make kids, when one is married only. I am mad, because he is a really nice guy, but is to religious, and I don't plan on getting married any time soon. I am way to young, and just want to experiment, but no everything is religious.

Well is he right or wrong ?

I don't recall anything in the Bible about how sex is only for procreation.

If you just want to experiment, go down town and pick up a couple of hood rats. Knock about 20-30 off, get checked for "pelvic infections", and you'll be fine for awhile.

He's only right according to what he believes..... some religions believe in sex as an act of worship, rather than of procreation (as in the Tantra of Hinduism, for example...)... personally, I believe in freedom of choice, and that all relationships should be based on a mutual willingness to compromise... if that isn't so, then the relationship is doomed anyway...

I think that teaching started out as more a Catholic teaching...Not to waste seed...and I think the story comes from the Bible story of Tamar.

yah i think Debbies first post was right, sex has been attempted to be, for lack of better word, "regulated" in religion. Catholics believe sex's sole purpose is to procreate. other religions im not too sure about, but I personally think that it just comes down to what you feel is right. I think sex is supposed to be a sign of intense affection. A sign of how much you love a person. That one person that you want to be with forever.

In what religion is he religious? Because if it is Christianity, the Bible never says that sex is just for procreation. Sex is also about companionship and commitment - it is one of the strongest connections between two people.

It's none of my business, but I have to agree with fini. You don't have to have sex to love someone. If someone really loves you, they will wait, and if they don't wait, then you know that they really didn't love you. Honey, if you're 15 thats actually illegal and your boyfriend can get charged with statutory rape, so DON'T DO IT. If he says he's too religious to have sex with a condom, then he should really be too religious to have sex before marriage, or he should at least wait til you are ready. Even without the risk of pregnancy, you could still get an STI/STD, and its just not worth it. If he dumps you because you refuse to have unprotected sex with him, he wasn't worth it anyway.

I'm not entirely sure, I only did AS LAw... I have a feeling there is some law they are trying to get changed, which currently has either no legal age of consent for boys, or its sposd to be about 14 or something... It's an awful law, it might have been hanged already, it was about three years ago i was studying it. i think the logic behind it was that boys can't really be forced to have sex unless by another boy... (( gay sex consent is 18 I think)) and also that there is no real consequence to underage sex for boys, they are not expected to help with any offspring etc...

As I said, it was being changed when I heard about it, and I only vaguely remember it, it might have been changed by now...

You should experiment while you're young and have fun. Sex is all about fun - expressing lust or love for someone (the quality of sex is mostly subjective to whether you'are lusting or loving).

The worst possible thing you can do is have sex without a condom, or do something you don't want to do for someone else's beliefs.

There is nothing wrong with any kind of sex as long is it is between two consenting adults...(although im aware teenagers do it too )
